Caleb from Precision Garage Door Service provided fast, excellent, and incredibly polite service. He arrived exactly on time, fixed my door, and replaced my opener perfectly. I also appreciated the veterans discount. The only downside was the cost. I needed a quick fix and didn't shop around, but I later realized their pricing is definitely on the high end, even after the discount. Overall, Caleb did fantastic work, but be prepared for premium pricing.

I call for a broken spring replacement and the pre inspection the technician and recommended replacement of the two springs , two broken hinges and replacing the bearings. Then he released the garage door from the trolley to test the motor. He asked me push the button to activate the motor The technician said have you noticed the worm drive moving slow.I told him, I did notice it. The technician did not take the cover of the motor to inspect the motor to determine why the worm drive was moving slowly.Then he gave me estimate which was way over priced. The technician gave me two estimates. The first one was for the two spring , 3 bearings and the center coupler. Then said, the garage door opener needed to be replace which was basically 2, 000. I told there is nothing wrong with the motor. The technician seem be very efficient and just wanted sell me something that I did not need. The technician test the door and ask wife to push button for him. When she push to activate the motor it was humming and did not work the first time.When did not work he said, don't tell it is motor while my wife was in the garage. He unattached the the latch from the trolley Then it work 4 times and he went on his way.Serveral hours later I push the button and it did not work. I took off the cover and notice the capacitor was leak oil which is for jump starting the motor. I purchased a capacitor for 17 dollars which solved the problem instead unnecessarily spending 2,000 dollars for the garage door opener. I wouldn't recommend Precision Garage door company to anyone. I attached a photo of the the bad capacitor which very easy fix.

When we expressed interest in obtaining additional quotes, we were informed that closing the garage door could cause further damage, effectively leaving us with the choice of either keeping the door open while seeking another provider or proceeding with the repair through this company. Sheridan with Precision Garage Door was courteous and did a great job fixing my garage door issues. There is no complaint about his performance. However the invoice was not transparent and the job was very expensive. The installation labor was bundled with the material items and no one I spoke to with Precision Garage Door could break it down for me so I know what I am paying for what. The standard answer I got was “It is above my pay grade”.
