Torsion spring broke on my 30 year old 2 car garage door. Called at 8:30 and got a 10:00-2:00 window same day. Text updates with arrival status, tech showed up around 11:00. We discussed what services I wanted and proceeded with door "rebuild" and new automatic opener. Job completed in less than 2 hours. The tech, Nathaniel Lapidez, was great!!

Our garage door opener decided to go bad and we weren't sure where to turn. Called Precision Garage Door Service and they had someone come to our home that afternoon. Phillip was sensational - he explained and showed me the problem, then proposed 3 options that would solve the problem. We chose the more expensive option (new opener, springs and cables) since that would provide a longer term solution. Then Phillip proceeded to remove the old opener and install the new one plus all the other related parts. I was present for nearly all of the operation and Phillip explained everything as he went along plus answering all of my questions in great detail. The work was completed in good time and with great results. Phillip kept the work area and it's mess well contained and removed all of the old equipment and packing material (to be recycled). I was impressed by his work etiquette and personable attitude - would have him come back in a heart beat. Kudos to Precision Garage Door for everything.

I came home from a Costco trip loaded with groceries and the garage door would not open. I searched for garage repair shops in Livermore. Precision came up with a list that had one close. I called and right away a real person answered the phone and she said a repair person would be between 10 and 2. That was a10 and 1 I received a call from Carlos that he was on the way and would be there in 30 minutes. He arrived and knew exactly what was wrong. He explained the problem to me and my options for the repair. I can not say enough how great he was: his appearance was good, he was very patient dealing with any questions and he was quick with the install and left leaving a clean work area. Very disappointed in the results. The service tech was very professional but I never should have let him talk me into replacing my springs when all I really needed was the cables replaced. My door hasn’t worked since my service and I may have to replace my opener to overpower the new springs. I have since replaced all the rollers and tried adjusting the springs myself to try to make it work. Would never hire Precision again.

Patrick came out to my house right on time. After looking at the garage door, he was thorough in his explanation of what the issues were and how he would repair them. Our overall experience was outstanding! Booking was easy and Rodney called prior to arrival for the scheduled date/time booked to confirm his arrival within 30 minutes. Upon arrival, he inspected, provided options and he was super helpful with a recommendation that would repair and set us up with a door that performed better than it ever had since we moved to our home 15 years ago.
