Service Tech, Tried to HARD SALE ME on $2,300.00 repairs. Replace current spring assembly with a center spring assembly, rollers and lift cables! I had one broken spring, and one broken cable! I’m sure replacing two springs and two lift cables will do the trick. Have their competitors scheduled for Monday. They need to change their slogan to: “A Name You CAN’T TRUST.” I know they’re really duping a lot of customers out there! I never write reviews, however I just needed to put this out there…

Precison garage door showed up at my house within an hour after i called them. I think that the doors worked as well or better than when they were new. They had all of the parts on their truck. I will probably get 2 new motors soon but i wanted the doors fixed first. They even had parts for strengthening my old door. I was very impressed. They did not just replace the broker part and leave. They made my doors like new doors.

I saw several commercials advertising Precision and I also like the “jingle”???? The technician was professional and friendly. He explained the options and the benefits of those options. After the diagnostic the technician was available to begin work right away. When the work was completed he explained and demonstrated the new system. Overall it was a great experience!

I phoned Precision in the morning and was able to get an appointment for that afternoon. The technicians were polite, knowledgeable and efficient. Precision is great! I called about an appointment in the morning and had a technician on site this afternoon! The main spring on our garage door broke so I needed some major repairs. Their technician, Sheridan Abad, was super friendly and professional and gave me 2 quotes. He explained both options in great detail without trying to push me towards the more expensive repairs. I was afraid he'd have to order parts and come back another day, but he had everything with him in his truck and was able to change my one spring to a 2-spring system within about 1 hour. At the same time, he changed all the wheels to better, quieter ones, greased everything and serviced the garage door motor. The door seems to run way more smoothly, is quieter and maybe even a little bit faster. I couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend Precision.

Precision technician Mr. Sheridan Abad carefully parked his truck at spot for easy work access and not to block neighbors' driveway. He greet me with courtesy, inspected my garage door, wrote estimate right away and even gave me a good senior discount. They were referred by my neighbor so I was expecting the similar rate. He quickly finished the job earlier than his estimated time, explained the operations and newest technologies in it. It was a pleasant surprise that it's functions exceed my expectation. The sound of the door now is just SWEET!

Sheridan replaced a garage door motor for us in 2019 and he came to the rescue again with a repair to a damaged door. Only about five hours elapsed between my initial phone call and the completed project. I couldn’t have been more pleased since the fix included straightening the door, a brace and a heavy duty spring. I will always use Precision Garage Door for any future needs.

We closed our garage door late in the afternoon of August 8, 2022 and there was a loud bang. We saw the spring across the top had broken. The garage door is original, 30 years old, and hadn’t been repaired in 8 years. Since it had been so long I looked online and happened on Precision Garage Door Repair. A well-designed and easy to understand website, a local office, excellent reviews and ratings, Diamond Certified, and a surprise and very important feature – 24-hour live phone operator. I was able to make an appointment that evening for the next morning, August 9, 2022. Sheridan Abad, the tech, called prior to arrival, arrived within the indicated time frame and was prepared with a basic understanding of the problem and all the tools and supplies required. He did a thorough inspection and made recommendations to fix what was broken and also to address safety issues and provided a detailed estimate for the repair. We did not feel pressured to have any unnecessary work done but felt confident that what was recommended was required. The work was completed quickly and efficiently and within the estimated timeframe. Sheridan pointed out all the new parts and repairs and demonstrated how much easier the door was to operate manually and how much quieter it was. Cleanup was quick and thorough. I feel very fortunate that I just “happened” on the Precision Garage Door Repair website and especially fortunate that Sheridan Abad was our tech. As a trainer as well as a technician I feel he is an expert, but I also feel confident that any tech who provided service would have been qualified and competent. They seem to have it down to a science: every aspect of the repair from the initial phone call to the demonstration of the finished product was well done and made very easy for the customer. Everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable and friendly, everything communicated to us was easy to understand and accurate, and the service truck and equipment were well-maintained. It was just a smooth process from beginning to end. I would not hesitate to recommend Precision Garage Door Repair and Sheridan Abad without hesitation.

Very disappointed. The technician came out to do a door tuneup and did a 2 minute "25 point inspection" and quoted $1600 repair bill. I opted out of doing this "repair" only to have the door not work because the technician forgot to reconnect the door to the motor. If you can't reconnect the door after a simple inspection how can I trust the quality of your work?

I am a licensed S.E. S1862 and would like to propose a bolt though the wall as opposed to current failed lag attachment of spring. Garage never used for vehicles. Will buy new garage door when sell in 1 yr. A more experienced person could probably do this. Happy to sign a hold harmless document.
