I saw several commercials advertising Precision and I also like the “jingle”???? The technician was professional and friendly. He explained the options and the benefits of those options. After the diagnostic the technician was available to begin work right away. When the work was completed he explained and demonstrated the new system. Overall it was a great experience!

The technician (Travis) was a little late due to another time-consuming project before me, but ultimately he found the issue with the cables and drum, which needed to be repaired along with the rollers. I appreciate that this was fixed properly. The technician identified what I needed to get this done and resolve the problem. Travis did a great job! Thanks for fixing my garage door.

Very disappointed. The technician came out to do a door tuneup and did a 2 minute "25 point inspection" and quoted $1600 repair bill. I opted out of doing this "repair" only to have the door not work because the technician forgot to reconnect the door to the motor. If you can't reconnect the door after a simple inspection how can I trust the quality of your work?

I have used Precision in the past and was more than satisfied. Again, the service person was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. I called at 1:30 pm and by 5 my door was fixed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Precision and will leave this review on the Next door site and yelp.

I backed into my own garage door at my home in Richmond on a Friday night and called another company first. They said they'd get back to me -- shortly and never did. So Saturday at 7:20, I called Precision because of all the positive reviews I'd seen online, and the promise of same-day service. The technician arrived at 10am as promised and my door was not only fixed but fundamentally improved when he was done...just an hour later. I am stunned and thrilled at the fantastic and fast work. Hopefully I won't make backing into my garage door a habit, but if I do, I'm calling Precision without hesitation.

I am a 71 year old woman who is very skeptical about allowing people into my home to do repairs. I am very happy to say I had an appointment today to have my garage door repaired and Mr. Ismael Lopez came out to my home on time to do the repairs. My garage door broke again. James came back and we discussed the condition of my aging door motor. I decided to get the new LiftMaster motor with a belt drive not chain. He did lots of work and repairs to the door all while training a new guy. I am so happy with it. It’s quite and even has a motion detector light to brighten my garage. I want James to come back every year to maintain it, he is the best!

I used Presision a while ago to have my garage remotes programmed and was very pleased withthe service. also chose Precision, because they are a Richmond company and family owned. I am very satisfied with the service received, the technician first evaluated what my need was, took time to develop a detailed description of what was needed to be done and provided a quote on what it would cost. Once discussed he started on the project. Completed it in about 2 hours, we did a demo. on how everthing operated and he pointed out everthing that was done. Excellent work. Very happy with the job. Job well done!

We were a bit concerned when we learned that Paul was not going to get to us until after the 6:00 p.m. end of our appointment time, but mainly because we thought he'd be pretty tired after a long day. NOT! He and his assistant arrived energized and ready to go. He looked at the problem, quoted us several options, we picked one and left him and his assistant to the job. In fairly short order, given what had to be done, he was finished. We tested the door's function together and it performed flawlessly (thus liberating the car that was trapped inside the garage!). Everything was done just as Precision stated on the website it would be. We are pleased customers!

My homes garage door and lift system was in need of repair, Paul Brinkman was the technician that arrived to repair and replace with new spring, cables, rollers and a new Liftmaster LED system. His work was clean and timely. Mr. Brinkman also gave a full and through explanation of the new Liftmaster system. The garage door is now quiet to open and close plus it locks securely.

James came out to check our garage door since we experienced problems with the door closing in the afternoons. James diagnosed the problem and also noted a frayed line that would have been disastrous if not caught. James was efficient, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Absolutely impressed and satisfied with the professional work that Mr. Paul Brinkman did for me. First he got here on time and greeted me with a friendly demeanor. He explained that the parts on my garage door were out of date and what it would take to to get it back to working conditions. He gave me the pricing on three different options he broke down and explained everything. Once we agreed on what work was going to be done he got straight to work. We had a broken motor and had asked another repair company to come see it; they wouldn't come on time and didn't have the parts. Frustrated, I looked elsewhere and found Precision Garage Door. I was totally delighted when they said not only would they come out that day (it was 4 pm when I called), but that they had motors on the truck. Blake Zuniga arrived and couldn't have been nicer. He gave us 3 options and estimates on the repair, all professionally presented, and then went ahead and did the repair we chose -- right on the spot. Blake was super nice, very friendly, and we couldn't be happier with the work. Highly recommend him and Precision.

Josh did an excellent job of replacing the broken springs for a 40 year old garage door. He also replaced end bearings, rollers and cables. Clearly explained what needed to be done. Although things did not go smoothly, Josh stayed and adjusted until we were both satisfied. Would recommend Josh and Precision Door to anyone needing garage door service.

Excellent service, even if pricey. We were having an intermittent problem that wasn't diagnosed correctly by a different company on repeated visits, so we tried this one after a complete failure left us unable to open the door at all. Very prompt response, courteous service, and our door is now working perfectly.
