Precision Garage Door Service is outstanding. They are open 7 days a week and I easily located their website, began a chat with an agent, and scheduled an appointment for the next day (Sunday) at my home in Concord. They sent me a text and email confirming the appointment and also letting me know that a logo’ed truck would be showing up with a technician wearing a green logo’ed shirt. Caleb Winchester showed up right on time and couldn’t have been more processional. He did an inspection on the important parts of my garage door and working components. He replaced my broken springs with 2 awesome looking green powder coated springs and he also replaced 2 bearings so that the most important parts of my garage door system were brand new and offered a full warranty. He was in and out in a little over an hour and I was able to use Apple Pay to pay for the service which is super convenient. Caleb even sprayed lubricant on all of the hinges and in doing so found a couple hinges that were broken. He replaced them also for a very fair price. All in all, my experience with Precision Garage Door Service couldn’t have been any better. I highly recommend them!

I had an emergency situation this past Friday with my garage door and was able to get an appointment later that afternoon. Sheridan (spelling ?) and his assistant Ron did a nice job of explaining of what needed to be done and was able to have a new motor and key pad installed in less than a hour. They both were great.

I've waited to write this review in order to evaluate your repair work on my garage door. The service technician was friendly and helpful. My only issue is the garage door makes an inordinate amount of noise during its operation. I'm seriously considering calling you back out to remedy the situation.

Well … I feel that I wasted the $70 initial visit because the representative misdiagnosed the problem. My garage door was only opening 70% of the way. The representative tried adjusting it with the adjustment buttons (like I did already) … then tried by unplugging the unit for a minute hoping that it would reset (also like I did) … but the door still opened only 70%. Your representative said that we would need to replace the entire unit and rail at a cost of $1,600.00 plus $1,100.00 if the four springs needed replacing. We told him that we would have to think about it. The next day I called B&C garage door .. they came out that evening and also tried the same things and determined that we needed to replace the circuit board in the unit and perhaps adjust the springs … he had the new part (circuit board) with him and replaced it .. then he adjusted the doors opening and closing by using the adjustment buttons on the new circuit board… and also adjusted the springs in order to make the door close softer … now everything works fine … B&C charged me $200.00 … well worth it!! Not sure what the Precision guy was thinking.. he didn’t even offer or think of replacing the circuit board?? So we saved a couple of thousand dollars by using B&C ! … yeah! Precision should refund all or part of my $70.00 that we paid for a misdiagnosis please!

Though the work was done fast and very satisfactory, the total repair costs was ridiculously and unreasonably expensive. I don’t agree when you have different charges based on where you live. I would say that I am an unhappy customer.

Precision Door’s ease of booking an appointment and Antonio’s knowledge made the process of first attempting to salvage our 20 year old motor and ultimate replacement a very positive and easy experience. From the ease of same day booking and the notifications of arrival, Precision Door’s commitment to excellent customer service was clear. We tried several options to salvage the old motor, but ultimately had to replace. The replacement was fast and seamless, and Antonio walked my wife and I through adjustments, pairing with vehicle, etc. For the next replacement I’ll definitely go with Precision Door and strongly recommend them to anyone needing service or replacement. Quick response, waiting on written recommendation with cost estimate including lable and detailed parts breakdown. Called for (1) broken spring, verbal estimate was $1400 which included bearings. My wife called me and I wasn't in a position to make the decision. The first website that came up on a google search while I was on the phone with the tech stated "never pay more than $1000 for springs on a garage". So I await more details.

So of course it was a Sunday morning when one of the torsion cables came loose and prevented us from closing the garage door. I found Precision Service online, and was very happy that they could send out a technician the same day without exorbitant weekend fees. David L. arrived and really worked to figure out the issue - not just replace the cables. I'm very happy with the work he did and very appreciative of the time and care he took to get our door working - for today and the future.

All went well. Patrick explained all what needed to be fixed. I asked him some questions regarding the garage door. Well since the doors were installed in 2004 he explained to me about the springs and some other parts. So, I trusted him and decided to have all replaced. I’m very happy with the work he did. I came home around 12:00pm on a Monday and my garage door would not close. I called Precision and had an appt. within 2 hours. The technician was Parampreet Singh and he was knowledgeable, courteous and very professional. He gave me a few options to consider before I chose a new garage door opener and rail system. The installation was completed within an hour, and he even programmed the door opener in my vehicle. I called Precision based on the commercials I had seen on TV. Everything they advertised was spot on from the professional phone service through installation. I highly recommend them for any needed repair or new door installation.

Would not recommend using this company again. Very overpriced! Technician was hard-working and competent but pricing was way too high. Circumstances prevented me from using my preferred vendor and I was stuck with my car trapped in the garage. I was charged 400X my preferred vendor's bid for same scope of work. I can understand a modest up-charge for quick service (which I appreciated) but 300% is over the top!

There is simply no other garage door firm in the Bay Area to even consider. These guys at Precision Garage Door are ALWAYS the best.
