Competent workman but this company and probably most that are in this business pray on people who are desperate to have their door working again. $1200 to replace the torsion springs and side bearings (retail price of a set is around $200 with bearings). Work was done in less than an hour.

Needed a new bracket bolted to the garage door. Patrick, our technician provided a 20” long x 3” wide piece of steel bolted to the door. An excellent piece of craftsmanship. It took Patrick only 10 minutes to uninstall the old 2” bracket and install the new one. Very pleased with the work.

A cable on my garage door broke yesterday mid afternoon. Having used Precision Garage Door previously, I called for an apppointment. Within 3 hours Patrick showed up. Our garage door stopped working many months ago. We don't use it for our car, so we didn't prioritize fixing it. We had someone from another company come out to give us a quote, but they didn't seem to diagnose the problem correctly. Our technician took the time to really investigate the issue, looking carefully with a flashlight at all of the connection points in our garage. He capably and clearly explained our options for repair and the associated ballpark ranges for how long certain components were expected to last. This helped us to repair the necessary components of our garage door assembly without added cost. The technician arrived the day we scheduled service (same day!), and was able to complete the repair on the spot since the necessary parts were on the truck. We are extremely pleased with the work!
