James W arrived ahead of schedule and evaluated the situation in under a minute, no exaggeration, he was that fast. Then he gave me a couple options for the fix, and a little over an hour later, it was opening and closing better than new! I would recommend James to anyone looking for help with garage issues. Your company came out and tried to charge me $1549,00 to change my springs cables and rollers according to your man were no good . Not to mention you charged me $70.00 for a service call Had another company come out installed new springs , cables No new rollers as they were fine $650.00 dollars total No service fee You seriously need to rethink your pricing and acessment of people’s doors Horrible I will never use your company again You should refund my money

It appeared that our 9+ year-old garage door opener motor had begun lifting the door much slower than usual starting the last few days of 2022. I thought only the spring might need further tensioning in order to handle more of the work lifting the door, but was not sure. I called Precision mid-morning on December 29th and received an appointment that same afternoon. The technician arrive roughly in the middle of the time window given and called ahead twice to update us with his estimated arrival time. He demonstrated that too little spring tension was Not the problem (our spring apparently has several more years of useful life) and that we needed a new motor as I had feared. Some other door components needed some modest adjustment/alignment/lubrication as well, but we also decided to replace the 22+ year old original wire cables that lift the door since they had begun to fray. The technician walked us through everything he had done, demonstrated all aspects of the new arrangements to us, and programmed the two remotes (one built into our 5 year-old car and a new clip-on visor clicker for our 20 year-old car). My wife and I carried out our own tests of all aspects of the new system that we would be using with the technician to make sure we understood it. We decided not to utilize several of the higher-tech aspects of the new motor system since we did not expect to have any need for them. The entire job took about 2-1/2 hours, but everything tested out perfectly. The work was a lot more expensive than I had hoped (just an inspection, a spring adjustment, and some lubrication), but we feel that all the repair/replacement work performed yesterday was necessary and properly done. We have used Precision every year or two for over a decade to maintain and repair our garage door. This was the first major repair in many years.

Thank you for the emergency repair and install. It was nicely done in a few hours as advertised. I appreciate very much the excellent service from your engineer Alex. He is very hard working with demonstrated skills and knowledge. However, I do have sticker shock because every piece of raw materials (springs, tubes and opener) are at least 2x more expensive than the market. In an emergency situation, customer is usually not in a good bargaining position... Excellent service but heavy mark up has greatly reduced client satisfaction.

I have used Precision Garage Door many times and every time I use them I have a great experience. I called and asked for information regarding a new opener because I was wanting to get the remotes to the opener out of my family cars. But because of the unit I had I could not add the MYQ technology. Called in and the same day Carlos came to my house. He went over the different options of the units that he had and I chose the newer model which was more money but that's ok. You cant put a price on your families security. Carlos installed the opener and did some repairs on my door which were badly needed. Carlos was a 5 star installer and was very professional. He explained the unit and how it works and had me all set up before he left. Thank you Carlos for everything.

I’ve been meaning to leave a review for a while but, here goes. We have had a couple different issues with our garage door. Both times Travis came out. He was on-time, professional, friendly, and explained everything so I could understand what he was doing, what my options were, and the cost of those different options. I will absolutely call them anytime I have a garage door issue and if I need to purchase anything new for the garage door. I can’t speak highly enough of Travis, and through him, Precision Garage Doors.

The technician (Travis) was a little late due to another time-consuming project before me, but ultimately he found the issue with the cables and drum, which needed to be repaired along with the rollers. I give the service 5 stars. I am so grateful for the quick response to my inquiry for service. I found your ad in the Yellow Pages of the Homeowners Guide. I was unable to close the garage door and I was fearful that my garage was open to the interior of my house. The attendant explained the choices of fixing the door with the parts in it or putting in new parts. The warranties would vary. The attendant was a skilled professional and a pleasant person.

I chose Precision door because they responded right away, however i am disappointed with their work. After spending $1000 to get the garage door fixed 2 weeks ago, it started making squealing noise within a week of repair. Now i have to spend additional $250 to get the noise fixed. They are pretty expensive(charging 3 or 4 time more than regular price).

HORRIBLE Customer service!!! They did not show up the committed time and did not notify me. They were scheduled to come between 12-4 pm and they did not show up until 530 pm. It's a day before Thanksgiving and ruined my plans because they're not reliable and respectable company. I do not recommend this company!
