They are not required and or mandatory to do. We encourage any customer to call around if they feel inclined to do so. But to your point, garage door repair is not cheap. We are not the most expensive company out there, we are not the cheapest (we do not want to be), but we do try to be very professional and stand behind our work. Service Tech, Tried to HARD SALE ME on $2,300.00 repairs. Replace current spring assembly with a center spring assembly, rollers and lift cables! I had one broken spring, and one broken cable! I’m sure replacing two springs and two lift cables will do the trick. Have their competitors scheduled for Monday. They need to change their slogan to: “A Name You CAN’T TRUST.” I know they’re really duping a lot of customers out there! I never write reviews, however I just needed to put this out there…

We called Precision Door Service to fix a broken vibration isolator attached to one of our garage door motors after 6-months of installation. The garage motor was hanging on to a single bolt! The garage door repairman was Alex and he fixed the issue in about 40 minutes! He did an excellent job in removing those vibration isolators and securing my garage door motors without those things. Even after removing them, the garage doors still function quietly (as they are fairly new). Thank you very much for your help, Alex! While the concept is nice in reducing the vibration and noise with those vibration isolators, the materials in those things can be made cheap and weak. They are rubbers that can break apart which can be safety hazard and liability especially if those are the only things securing the garage motor.

Dishonest and rip off. I found this from diamond certified and saw the website claim the company ensure for the door operating as long as I own the property. So I called and ask for spring replacement which I'm told for only $250. However technician came out and quote me on several options ranging from $900+ (1 year warranty) to $1800+ (3 years warranty). He told me to replace other parts which he think should be replaced in order for the spring to operate properly. After talking to several other companies the quotes are from $500 to $900. They told me other parts are still fine and one even offer me lifetime warranty for a premium quality of spring brand.

We are thrilled with our new unit. The tech really worked hard, and putting in a new motor wasn't easy. He was very patient when he had to show me how the new unit worked. Our only serious concern was that our door failed on a Sunday night, anon one could come out or even explain how to close the door to keep out trespassers.

Precison garage door showed up at my house within an hour after i called them. I think that the doors worked as well or better than when they were new. They had all of the parts on their truck. I will probably get 2 new motors soon but i wanted the doors fixed first. They even had parts for strengthening my old door. I was very impressed. They did not just replace the broker part and leave. They made my doors like new doors.

I saw several commercials advertising Precision and I also like the “jingle”???? The technician was professional and friendly. He explained the options and the benefits of those options. After the diagnostic the technician was available to begin work right away. When the work was completed he explained and demonstrated the new system. Overall it was a great experience!

I phoned Precision in the morning and was able to get an appointment for that afternoon. The technicians were polite, knowledgeable and efficient. They drew my attention to repairs needed in addition to what I had initially phoned called about. They did all the repairs and told me what routine maintenance I needed to do in order to keep the door in good condition.

i had a new liftmaster garage door opener system installed in 2006 and have never had a problem with it. with the excessive rain recently, however, some rainwater leaked through what is a new garage roof ( installed last spring, but inadequately done which is a whole other issue i have with a roofing company ) ... the water apparently affected the electrical circuit box for the liftmaster mechanism and it would no longer work ... my garage door would not open and as there is no inside access it was a big problem ... i called the liftmaster service number and based on my zip code i was referred to precision garage door service ... they were able to send a very capable young man named tony to my place the same day even though it was a monday national holiday ... tony stood on a ladder and eventually manuevered a coat hangar wire through a very tiny opening at the top of the door so he would be able to access the emergency release handle and open the door ... once inside he determined right away that the mechanism was affected by the leaking water and for an immediate short term fix rerouted the electricity using an extension cord to another electrical outlet on the garage wall ... he was very knowledgeable about everything and explained a possible option for a long term solution regarding relocating part of the electrical system for the mechanism ... of course ideally the new garage roof should not leak at all but that is another issue to take up with the roofing company ! many thanks to tony and precision garage for solving the immediate problem so quickly for me ... i really appreciated the expertise and the service !

I was very impressed with the quick response and professionalism in fixing my garage door which would reverse immediately after touching the floor so I couldn't close it. The installers came out the same weekend day I called for help. Worn cables and rollers were replaced by friendly technicians. Now my garage door works like new and is much quieter. I highly recommend this Diamond Certified company.

James W arrived ahead of schedule and evaluated the situation in under a minute, no exaggeration, he was that fast. Then he gave me a couple options for the fix, and a little over an hour later, it was opening and closing better than new! I would recommend James to anyone looking for help with garage issues. I was quoted option 1 ($970) or option 2 ($1350) to replace 2 springs with a 15K cycle rating. This is very expensive compared to other garage repair shops.
