Thank you Precision Garage Door and a huge thank you to service technician, Ryan Espinoza! Ryan went out of his way to figure out a way to fix my garage door so that it was safe to open and close safely. I asked him to disconnect the power to the door so that my tenant could not accidentally try to open the door via the power switch. My tenant can now open the door safely by using the handle and close and lock via a slide lock. Ryan was very helpful and explained every step of the way what my options were. Overall experience was good. Super pricey for the amount of work that was done. 20 minutes worth of work for $350 ????. The assistant was great. He did most of the work while the main guy supervised. Wish I had more time to shop around for a better price.

Prompt, timely service - it was late afternoon, early eve, so they were already into overtime, urgent appointments, but they were able to schedule me for the very next morning early. The great super nice technician called ahead, so I was able to make sure he knew it was a much older door and confirm he could deal with it, as the springs might be custom, and he assured me, "we are professionals"! He showed up at the beginning of the 2-hour allotted appointment time slot, and was done before it ended! I couldn't believe how fast, efficient, competent, courteous, experienced and knowledgeable he was. He replaced both springs, rod, and bearing, serviced all the moving door parts, cleaning/lubricating, tightened all the nuts and bolts, and took the time to answer all my questions and show me the ropes of my semi-new (or nicely refurbished old!), functioning, auto working garage door! I didn't need to replace the whole door, he was able to fix all the old parts, so saved me several thousand dollars! And he was very nice, such a pleasant young man. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door excellent A+ service!

He installed that AND fixed an outdoor key pad, syncs to two cars and two doors. He took time to explain and show us how to make it work. I was quoted option 1 ($970) or option 2 ($1350) to replace 2 springs with a 15K cycle rating. This is very expensive compared to other garage repair shops.

Service Tech, Tried to HARD SALE ME on $2,300.00 repairs. Replace current spring assembly with a center spring assembly, rollers and lift cables! I had one broken spring, and one broken cable! I’m sure replacing two springs and two lift cables will do the trick. Have their competitors scheduled for Monday. They need to change their slogan to: “A Name You CAN’T TRUST.” I know they’re really duping a lot of customers out there! I never write reviews, however I just needed to put this out there…

We called Precision Door Service to fix a broken vibration isolator attached to one of our garage door motors after 6-months of installation. The garage motor was hanging on to a single bolt! The garage door repairman was Alex and he fixed the issue in about 40 minutes! He did an excellent job in removing those vibration isolators and securing my garage door motors without those things. Even after removing them, the garage doors still function quietly (as they are fairly new). Thank you very much for your help, Alex! While the concept is nice in reducing the vibration and noise with those vibration isolators, the materials in those things can be made cheap and weak. They are rubbers that can break apart which can be safety hazard and liability especially if those are the only things securing the garage motor.

Dishonest and rip off. I found this from diamond certified and saw the website claim the company ensure for the door operating as long as I own the property. So I called and ask for spring replacement which I'm told for only $250. However technician came out and quote me on several options ranging from $900+ (1 year warranty) to $1800+ (3 years warranty). He told me to replace other parts which he think should be replaced in order for the spring to operate properly. After talking to several other companies the quotes are from $500 to $900. They told me other parts are still fine and one even offer me lifetime warranty for a premium quality of spring brand.

We are thrilled with our new unit. The tech really worked hard, and putting in a new motor wasn't easy. He was very patient when he had to show me how the new unit worked. Our only serious concern was that our door failed on a Sunday night, anon one could come out or even explain how to close the door to keep out trespassers.

Precison garage door showed up at my house within an hour after i called them. I think that the doors worked as well or better than when they were new. They had all of the parts on their truck. I will probably get 2 new motors soon but i wanted the doors fixed first. They even had parts for strengthening my old door. I was very impressed. They did not just replace the broker part and leave. They made my doors like new doors.
