I am surprised with the the quote given to me. My garage door opener is pretty old and the gear broke from inside and there is no way to repair. So, I asked for the quote how much would be the final amount if i go for new garage door opener. They have gave the quote which 4 times higher than market rate (total $3200). I checked with Home depot and their technician and got it replace in $400. I would not recommend service from Precision. Highly disappointed.

My experience with Phillip Nguyen goes back four years ago. Phillip has the same professionalism and mannerism as he greeted me today. Phillip greeted me with positive enthusiasm and was very detailed assessing my garage door issues. Phillip provided me options how I would like to proceed with repairs and the estimates and his estimated to complete repairs was spot on. Phillip, really knows his trade, but most importantly Phillip iwas sensitive and courteous to me and my neighbors. Noise was minimal and repairs exceeded my expectations. I had my service Monday, which went very well and the tech was very quick in getting my new motor and springs installed. I will say, I was a bit shocked at the price. I was not offered options and was just told that the cost would be $3600 for what he was installing. I was surprised on the invoice to see how much some of the individual components were and that it wasn’t service that was the result of the price. Looking on the precision garage door website, it seems like the average cost of a motor is 300-500, I paid over a grand for mine. I’m seeing the same motor available online for $400, why is this one so much more? Additionally the two springs were $300 each? Online I’m seeing average costs should be $100-$200 for both combined? It also cost $1000 for center and end bearing plates and cable. I’m just hoping for a bit more transparency on these costs as I do feel a bit like I was given premium options without being consulted on options.

Holy smoke!!! Garage door cockeyed and won’t open at 2pm on Saturday. Called and they made an appointment for 2:30 -6:30. Then Jose called & said he’d be there in 20 minutes. Got here at 2:50. Looked the door over, gave the estimate, we said OK. He replaced the spring, cables, plastic things that travel up & down. Fixed the track that was dented (we thought beyond repair) and assorted other parts. We paid him and he was on his way at 4:15!!! Their commercial is no BS. Saved the day. Thank you so much. Garage door stopped working! Called Precision and Jose Brizuela Lopez arrived approximately 2-3 hours after I called, which was well within the "window" I was told a tech would be out. He inspected the door (27 years old) and explained several ways to "fix it", offering pros/cons of each. I opted to do all to fix it. He was done in less than 1 1/2 to 2 hours. He explained everything thoroughly, door works - the whole process start to finish was easy. Highly recommend Precision.
