Update: Received a call from the manager and not only apologized but refunded us. We ended up having the panel replaced by another company. Appreciate them going out of their wait to clarify and make things right. Called and they sent a guy out the next day which was great. Problem is we paid $350 vs $120 that another company would have charged. The temporary fix was not appropriate based on the issue just so they could try and sell us a new garage door, motor and track system. We were quoted over $3500 for a cheaper door, motor and track system. The appropriate fix was to replace the top panel not temporarily fix it knowing it won't last. We were told our current motor was not in compliance with CA code in hopes that we would buy a new one but what they didn't inform us was that it's ok to still have it because it was installed prior to when the code was put into place. This company is out to over charge you and sell.

Thanks, Soukie Sing for upgrading then completed the garage door repairs in 2 hours. My garage door was over 20 years old. One spring broke. After reviewing, he suggested to upgrade the bearing, cables and other parts. I agreed and happy to pay more than expected.

I found that Precision Garage Door responded promptly to repair my garage door which had the broken spring. I found the garage door problem in the morning, and they responded to repair my door on same day. Rodney was excellent to repair the door. He recommended to replace the rollers to new plastic-covered rollers. Now, my door moves very quietly. I will call them next time when I have another garage door problem.

My kids had ran into my garage door a couple of times and it was in need of some service, in addition to having a broken spring. I made an appointment with A couple of different companies and ultimately chose Precision garage doors,. I have to say I selected Precision because they deploy quality parts and service. When Rodney called-he let me know he was about 15 minutes away and let me know professionally . The professional arrived at my house on time in the truck in uniform and he gave me an estimate that included an invoice for how much I would pay. I quickly decided that I would take advantage of the fact that he was ready to do the work right then and there. I also was happy to see that when he did the repairs, He went over everything and showed me things that I didn’t know were wrong with my garage and gave me several different scenarios for how I could repair and or replace and the quality of his replacement parts were really really good because I had done my homework. I’ll just say, I was very impressed and I would highly recommend Precision Garage Doors service in the future. Darryl Walker

A extension spring broke on my (very old) garage door opener system, leaving me unable to get my car out of the garage. I hadn't seen another system that looked like mine online, so was a bit worried that replacement parts wouldn't be available. Turns out that wasn't an issue. I booked an appointment online and David Lopez from Precision came over the same day. He quickly and efficiently replaced both springs, and remounted a safety sensor that was falling out of the wall. We also discussed the probable remaining lifetime of the motor (not long) and repair options if other parts should happen to fail too (very likely). If more work or a full replacement is needed later I'd use Precision again.

Couldn't be more pleased with the service from Precision, and particularly the technician -- Caleb Winchester -- who came out on a rainy evening and installed a complete new door lift and infrastructure. The price was as expected and reasonable, and Caleb was knowledgeable and professional. He gave me answers to my many questions and offered options to choose from. He had all the equipment on his truck and jumped right in once I'd settled on a package. The install looks and works great. You won't find better service in Sacramento. Ask for Caleb if you can.

Garage door spring broke on a Sunday and they were able to fix it that day. David the technician who helped me was friendly and explained everything well. They recommended replacing some other parts that were old and worn out. It seemed like a reasonable and legitimate recommendation based on the door being old and likely not maintained by the previous owned unless something broke. Prices weren't cheap so I probably should have gotten quotes for the other services recommended besides the clearly broken spring, but that's on me.

My garage door wouldn't close with the remote. After going through my DIY online checklist, I suspected a bad sensor (not just misaligned). These folks had fixed my (old) door before and done an excellent job, so I gave them a call. They came the next morning, exactly when they said they would, were completely professional, and had the job done in 20 minutes. New sensors work great. Thanks, folks.

Paul Brinkman repaired our garage door today. He did an excellent job and figured out what the problem was in just a few minutes. He not only repaired the main problem but he found several other issues with the door that he immediately fixed. This is the second time we have used precision and they did a fantastic job each time. They are extremely knowledgeable, they didn’t try to oversell, and they were extremely efficient in installing a new opener and rollers. Our door went from extremely noisy before their work to whisper quiet after. But what shocked us was how convenient scheduling was. They came same day in a 6-10pm window making it easy to be home from work. They arrived at 6:30 and texted us when on the way. They assessed the issue quickly and were able to install the new equipment on the spot. They finished before 9pm. I highly recommend working with Precision.
