At around 6:30 PM (PST) on 09/23/25, on opening I suddenly noticed our garage door made a screeching noise. From Google Search I selected the best rated Garage Door Repair service company nearest to my location, which was " Precision Garage Door of Bay Area". I called their 24/7 Customer Service Phone number. The customer service saff person was very courteous, she scheduled me for service call within next two hours. The assigned technician was also highly courteous, responsive, knowledgeable and timely to show up to repair the garage. My total experience about how my service call was handled and performance of the technician was exceptional.

I was incredibly impressed with Precision Garage Door from the very beginning! The operator in the morning was able to schedule me an appointment the same day which allowed me to not miss any work and Carlos the technician was able to diagnose the problem and fix the door quickly on the same day!! They made a great first and last impression and I am greatly appreciative for the great work they did!

I got a new garage door system (lift-master latest 2025) with all the buff and sham with them, recently in August. Antonio Mendoza seemed a nice professional. A month into it, the nut on the handle that holds the door which moves it up and down the belt literally fell off after it closed. I called them at 8:30 pm (as on date) and they’ve scheduled a service appointment the next day afternoon. Too bad they didn’t have anyone to come right away. Secondly, although I liked the install, the tech should have verified that his design of placement of handle (which is on the strut of our garage door) actually is reliable and hold the cycles of open and close. That’s the only main component that needs the most sturdiness as it lifts the door up and down every cycle! Too bad they didn’t check that.. although I did question being an engineer for 30+ years myself. They need this “design thinking” not just techs that can tighten and tighten nuts and bolts or install a belt based system. I’ll report back once it’s fixed and a better design of placement is done, hope he can find a reliable sturdy solution. I have homes in other states and they do it all too well. I’m assuming in northern cal they’ll have the smartest people ? I’ll be happy to change the rating and provide a updated experience after an update and if this is resolved with sturdy operation for few months!

I called because my garage wouldn't close after manually opening it and Sheridan "Robocop" Abad arrived within two hours. Right away, he identified that the springs needed to be replaced along with other issues. Between the two quotes he provided, we discussed the differences and I felt confident with his recommendation. Sheridan clearly explained the issues and was not pushy at all. We agreed to get it done the same day, and the garage was up and running again within the hour. He quoted $2398 for the full service. Expensive, but worth it for peace of mind. It was an old garage that had not been looked at in who knows how long. Extremely happy with my new door.

Antonio replaced the battery of my liftmaster in a jiffy and helped me in syncing the app with my door opener . I needed to get the bar code on the machine and got it for me. He took time to lubricate the hinges. He was fantastic and was patient to wait for me because I was out. He had come early.

Garage door would not open on the way to work. Booked online and Mario Mojica was my assigned technician. Mario notified me on when he was arriving at my residence. He executed his first initial overview of the health of the garage door and its components. He diagnosed the issue and was able to fix the issue quickly on the opener. I explained the history and he educated me to address some of my concerns. He was not pushy on any further recommendations on what "should be fixed", rather he provided solution scenarios that helped me as their customer decide. There was no pressure to decide then and there. Mario continued to provide me information on next action. The outcome and the experience went beyond my exceptions.

I booked service online at Precision's website and immediately got over 10 calls from different numbers which was both confusing and disturbing. One technician even showed up at my door on the wrong date. I complained to Precision by phone and was assured the matter would be escalated to management. I provided the different phone numbers that called. On the appointment date, the Precision Garage door technician showed up but I continued to get over 25 calls asking if the technician could come. Again very disturbing. Does Precision send my phone and address to multiple businesses? Unless Precision explains why this happened, I dont think I will use their services again.
