My experience with Precision Doors was great! I liked that they came very highly rated, good reviews, and understood the trepidation of having others come to your home during a unprecedented time. (Covid) All of the service reps were professional, on time and no hiccups! (all wore masks too) I ordered a basic door, and it was installed less than 3 weeks later and within 3 hours.

My garage door began to fail during the 4th of July weekend. I Googled Precision made the call and Precision responded, diagnosed the condition of my 2006 garage door operation, made their recommendation for repair and got the job done in 30 minutes. Afterwards, there was a fire alert and mandatory evacuation of my neighborhood. My family left the house forgot the house keys and were only able to enter through the garage door. I had Overhead Garage Doors of Stockton install an insulated garage door over a year ago. In all, including the installation, three service calls. I made calls to OGDS the same month of installation to fix the banging noise that the door made when opening. Each time the noise was still there after the same installer arrived. I put up with the noise until today… I called Precision Door Eastbay and Danny Yang arrived the day of the call, on time and solved the cause of the noise OGDS failed to fix in the two recalls for service I made about the noise. Precision Door will be my go-to garage door service provider from now on. Thanks again Danny, your attention to detail is much appreciated. The door makes no banging noise and is a quiet operation each time its operated.

Paul Brinkman did a great job. He came out today, June 27, 2020, to fix my garage door that stopped working after recent power outage. Called at 10:30 and Rep arrived at 1:00pm to address our issue. Spent a bit more than what I initially thought we would spend but in the end it probably made sense to update our system as it was a bit old. Jerry was very friendly and did a quality job. He was very good at explaining what he was doing and why. Very courteous and professional.

Fairly unhappy! You say you offer a senior discount being 72 it was not offered. Precision had originally installed the unit, I was told the system was not powerful enough and I needed a different one, I passed on it. He said the sensor was bad and recommended replacement of wire with sensor. Retail cost of both parts is about 50 dollars, less on Amazon. It took 15 min. to install and the total charge was 380 dollars. I felt taken advantage of.

The Tech was not wearing a mask when he came to my home. I did not receive a check list of what was inspected for my records. i felt the service charge was to high for the service given. i felt the company should have ordered the part needed for me to in stall, so it would be the correct part. That would have been a better service best practice.

Our technician was Sheridan. He was a class act from minute one. Answered all my questions. Made excellent and thoughtful recommendations. Was meticulous in the performance of his work. Imagine my surprise when I couldn't open my garage door and get my car out. I called them and explained my situation. That day, Paul Brinkman, their technician, was at my house with all the supplies he needed, gave me three options for the repair, and he explained them well. Two hours later, the garage door was fixed! I would definitely call them again

I had dealt with Contra Costa Door for over 20 years for maintenance / service - when I really needed them, their emergency response was 48-72 hours before I may hear back. Upon discovering our garage door spring had broken and hoping to get same day service, we found the ad for Precision online. Noticing their numerous 5 star reviews and diamond certified rating, we decided to call them. From our call to schedule an appointment, to the last minute of repair work, we could not have been more pleased with their service. We were able to get an appointment for later that afternoon, & received a call from technician Josh Kinder telling us what time he would be at our home. Upon arrival, he explained what needed to be done to fix our door. We chose to replace the spring on the other door as well, and replace plates, cables and drums to keep both doors working well for the future. Josh could not have been more professional and pleasant, and did a great job leaving the garage clean. We would highly recommend Precision to our family and friends.

Sheridan was the Technician that serviced my door which turned out to just need some lubrications. He was here about 20 minutes and solved the problem, however, I asked for a senior discount and he said he already gave me a discount on the service charge. I was told that fee would automatically be discounted if repairs were made. $224.00 seems excessive for the service.
