I saw your ad in the newspaper, the East By Times and read reviews of your company. We had been having issues with a garage door purchased in 2008. It would open partially, stick then close. Unknown to me was that there were a slew of broken parts, notably the two springs on the 2 car door and deteriorated pulley wheels on both the single car and double car doors which no longer rolled but dragged, thus creating friction and increasing the load on the respective motors. Push came to shove when my wife backed into the double door when it stuck and rolled back down causing a pretty big dent in the door but miraculously not damaging her car. So I called and was able to secure an appointment the next day January 7th. Tim was our technician and did an excellent job. He showed me the parts that had to be replaced, explained why, and demonstrated the difference between my original stock roller wheels and the ones he replaced them with. He also reset the lift distance of both our doors so that it would not hit the stop bolt. He also noticed that one of the light sockets wasn't working and explained the likely cause and fixed that too. But the best part was he was able to nearly restore the outward appearance of the door so that it did not look like it had been pushed outward by my wife's car. Though it wasn't perfect, the only way to notice the slight misalignment of the panels would have been to go up to the door and look down at the panels to see it. When closed, it's impossible to see any misalignment and it clearly cannot be seen while driving up to and then opening the door. Yes it was "expensive" but not in comparison to having to replace the entire door. Essentially we now have a new door with upgraded components for a fraction of the cost of replacing the entire door, motor, etc. I am very pleased.

Unexpected broken torsion spring Sunday morning. Garage won’t open, not even manually. Called two garage repair companies before precision door east bay. First company was AAAA and they never called me back. The second company was precision door from a different location- they offered Monday AM repair. I called PDEB at 11:30 and they promised a 2-6 pm ETA. Repairman Danny called me at 2pm and arrived at 2:20. He was done by 3pm. Garage works great. Thanks Danny!!! Price was fair for product and fast service.

My door was "acting up" and had trouble getting the last door company to repair it (they had replacrd the opener in October). Needless to say, I needed a new company. Your colorful ad caught my eye and the coupon offer sealed the deal. The serviceman was very nice and went right to work. He found that the sensors(for safety)were in need of replacement and did the work. I will most certainly call your company again,if the need arises. Couldn't find or don't know the exact repair.

My garage door opened failed. A friend recommended Precision Garage Door, so I gave them a call at 6:00 PM on a Saturday evening. They answered on the first ring and dispatched Sheridan Abad to my home at 11:00 AM Sunday morning. One of my decades-old garage door openers was making a horrible gear-grinding sound. Sheridan quickly diagnosed the problem, clearly communicated what was happening, and provided me with some good options. For me, reliability is paramount, so I had him replace the opener with a new LiftMaster. It's a quiet belt-driven unit with a battery backup. Now I can even open the door when the power is out. The unit also offers some cool features if you connect it to your Wi-Fi. Sheridan also replaced the door's old squeaky rollers and bearings. The operation is now silky smooth. I was impressed that Sheridan had a fully stocked vehicle with all the necessary spare parts. Getting this problem fully resolved in just one trip is a huge plus for me. I had called to have a technician sent out to my home to assist with servicing my garage door and resetting our current door openers. The technician shared that we needed a new motor and that our openers were too old to fix. In less than 5 minutes (arrival, inspection, and quote) we received a quote for a new door opener at $800. Needless to say, we paid the $50 fee for coming out. My husband was able to do some research online and found out how to reprogram our current door opener for free! Needless to say, I was not impressed with being quoted $800 and paying a $50 service fee for a job that could’ve been done in 5 minutes and required no new motor!

Paulino Mejia, the service technician took the time to explain to me why my garage door springs kept breaking and even though I ended up spending more than I initially had anticipated, I am happy that I went ahead with the repair he recommended. He was courteous, professional and fast! He replaced two springs, two pulley mechanisms, AND all the door track rollers in the time it took other companies we've hired in the past just to replace one spring. I called late Tuesday afternoon and was able to have a technician out the next day. The process of scheduling was very smooth and was followed up with an email confirming the appointment time. Sheridan Abad was the Tech and he immediately confirmed we had a broken spring. He had to replace both springs and some bearings. I thought the overall price was a little steep. The quality of the work was excellent and was efficient. I had called the company who had installed the door and the soonest they could come was in a week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. This was not acceptable since we had to get into the garage and the only way in was through the broken door. I would recommend Precision for prompt quality service. The fact that Sheridan is a Rotarian made the experience even better.

We emailed about a new garage door we needed. I got a return call with in a half hour, the appointment was made for the rep to come out and quote us. He was on time, nice and knew what he was selling. My only issue was the wait for the new door about 2 months, but that is on me. I just wanted our new garage complete :). It was well worth the wait.
