We made a wrong decision of choosing this company. The service maybe good but excessive charge compare to anywhere else. We were charged almost the same as brand new garage door for a small job. I really regret that I chose precision garage door repair.

I had my service Monday, which went very well and the tech was very quick in getting my new motor and springs installed. I will say, I was a bit shocked at the price. I was not offered options and was just told that the cost would be $3600 for what he was installing. I was surprised on the invoice to see how much some of the individual components were and that it wasn’t service that was the result of the price. Looking on the precision garage door website, it seems like the average cost of a motor is 300-500, I paid over a grand for mine. I’m seeing the same motor available online for $400, why is this one so much more? Additionally the two springs were $300 each? Online I’m seeing average costs should be $100-$200 for both combined? It also cost $1000 for center and end bearing plates and cable. I’m just hoping for a bit more transparency on these costs as I do feel a bit like I was given premium options without being consulted on options.

My garage door spring broke. Antonio Mendoza arrived within the time frame. He examined my garage door and located some other things that were going to be a problem in the near future. He showed me the problems and explained the damage and consequences of not repairing these other problems. He was able to repair all of the problems at a reasonable price and within an hour or so. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him!

My experience with the Precision team was amazing from the initial phone call through to the completed repair. The gal who answered the phone on Sunday was exceptionally pleasant and courteous, letting me know when to expect a phone call from the technician. True to her word, Sheridan called me shortly thereafter and gave me his estimated ETA. When he arrived, he quickly diagnosed the problem and was very thorough in his explanation. The repair was completed promptly and we tested afterward. I would absolutely recommend Precision for all future needs.

We called Precision Garage Door on Sunday and mentioned Sheridan Abad because of the nice work he did for us in 2022. Sheridan was scheduled to arrive between 10:00 AM and 02:00 PM on Sunday, February 4, 2024. He called, as promised, 20 minutes before arriving at 11:30 AM, replaced our garage door opener and left before 1:00 PM. Sheridan was punctual, knowledgeable, hard-working, pleasant, and answered our questions. I had a new LiftMaster garage door opener installed by Patrick Leahy and Breashear. I was impressed by the overall level of service. They provided an extensive inspection of my garage door unit, and gave recommendations as to how to maximize the life and efficiency of the door. I liked that they were prompt, courteous, explained the different pricing options, and left the garage work area clean. I would not hesitate to contact Precision in the future if a need arises. They do excellent work!

We had Precision install our new door a couple of years ago and it was time for a tuneup. Antonio came out today and arrived exactly when he said he would. He was an extremely polite young man and explained what he was going to do and set about doing it. He tightened all the doors bolts and lubricated the moving parts and finally reset our side mounted opener. It’s really good to feel confidence and trust in people. Antonio is an asset to your company.

I had a perceived problem with a garage door part and called Precision to replace it. Travis came and checked it out. He then proceeded to explain to me that although it might appear problematic, the part was perfectly functional. I know just about nothing regarding garage doors. Travis could easily sold me 400 bucks worth of parts and labor and I wouldn't have been the wiser. Instead I was presented with no charge for the service. This kind of honesty is more than refreshing. Precision Garage Door is a class act! Needless to say, in future for garage door maintenance, Precision will be the first (and only) company I'll be calling.
