I am so impressed with the service call I had today. My garage door when closing would hit the ground and bounce back up, it took 5-6x’s before it would stay closed. It seems wrong springs were put in, and Precision put in new springs at no charge. They are honest and reputable because they were the ones who put them in last year. I appreciate this; I have and will continue to recommend them. Thank you.

Absolutely impressed and satisfied with the professional work that Mr. Paul Brinkman did for me. First he got here on time and greeted me with a friendly demeanor. He explained that the parts on my garage door were out of date and what it would take to to get it back to working conditions. He gave me the pricing on three different options he broke down and explained everything. Once we agreed on what work was going to be done he got straight to work. I couldn’t believe how quick he was done and the quality of work was amazing to say the least. Mr Paul Brinkman a true professional his field

Currently I am overseas on Business and was not there to coordinate with the service person. I am satisfied with the promptness of the service however disappointed that my wife was not offered the 3 year warranty. Nor was she shown the "Best" as indicated in the email I received. Only difference I saw was the warranty length and an additional cable The price of the replacement battery started out at $155 which is a pretty big mark-up as I can purchase myself for $49. My indicated the service guy said he reduced the price by 50% but still a high price in my opinion. More disappointed with not having the 3 year warranty than anything else. My 5 year warranty on the original repair in 2015 had just expired on June 27 and would have liked to seen a new 5 year warranty offered.

Review:

Sheridan arrived promptly, did a full inspection of the system and offered many options for service. I initially opted for a more budget friendly service, which Sheridan promptly initiated. After consulting with the boss, which she pointed out the importance of a safe installation, of a major security feature of the house was our priority, we opted to get all the recommendations done. Sheridan completed all the work within the hour, made sure I understood my invoice and how completing all the work would save us money in the long run. He showed me all the parts he replaced and we tested the garage door before he left. He didn’t leave a mess and was respectful of our house and all the COVID / Social distancing protocols while working. This is our first home so there was some sticker shock but overall from start to finish, from calling after hours and getting a person (Derek) to book us, to Sheridan arriving on Labor Day and getting the work done, their professionalism and service is worth it.

Review:

Precision charged me $125 for $4 bearing at HomeDepot. Two bearings cost $250. It is understandable if I only replace a bearing. But, no! I am replacing 2 springs at the same time. The labor for replacing each bearing takes ~5 minutes. I will not use Precision again. Very bad charging practice.

The person who performed the service, James W. , was very professional and really knew his garage doors and openers. Would use the Company again in a heartbeat!! Dan Denis Brentwood summerset 11. They also gave me a discount for being a Veteran!! Now thats what I call class.

Choose Precision due to ads indicating local offices and customer reviews. They were super busy at the time, so told me it would be approx 5 weeks before they could completely remove my broken one with a new one. They called and we set up a date and informed me they would need 10 feet of space cleared to do the installation - which I did a few days before they were to arrive. They were slightly late from the original time frame to arrive, but did call and let me know. The person servicing was excellent - extremely polite, walked me thru what he would be doing, and informed me of the steps to keep it working well down the road (spray on lubricant periodically at key points). He swept the garage out on completion, took the debris and old door with him to dispose of later. Sooo nice to have one that is so easy to open (no motor on mine) ... pretty much able to lift it with a finger! Thanks Precision.

Excellent job by the installer. Fast service, honest estimate, cleaned up all materials. Can't speak yet as to the durability of the garage door opener, but it's working fine so far. The rolling code is a safer technology than the old dip switch, fixed code, and it was a needed upgrade. Ability to open the door with a smartphone eliminates carrying a remote around. Nobody should leave an opener on their visor, name and address is right there on your car registration. Precision has provided some important safety features for us. Good job!

I had an old garage door replaced by Precision Garage Door. Both Al, the estimator and Solomon, the technician , were very professional when they came to the house. The office staff I spoke with was friendly. Solomon, the technician, demonstrated expertise on the install and had it all done in less time than I thought he would. Not only does my new garage door look beautiful, but it is perfectly sealed all around. I only wish I had called sooner to do the job. Thank you to the team at Precision Garage Door that stalled my garage door.

The repair consisted of replacing the J arm connecting the trolley to the door. Apparently, the technician did not check the operation of the door after completion of the repair, which I consider a serious breach of responsibility. When I operated the door after the technician left, I found the trolley hitting the motor. Now I am forced to operate the door manually.
