My experience with Precision Garage Door could not have been more satisfying. From my first phone call, asking for service, to that service, itself, including the restoration work completed, all in less than 8 hours! That brief, 'start to finish' time frame, was itself astonishing, in my years of experience... I had been concerned about our garage door, fearing for some sort of breakdown, e.g., one of the springs suddenly bursting. Our service person, Joshua studied our circumstance, gave his diagnosis and provided 'treatment', with 5-year warranty, and for less than $900! Now our old door no longer sounds like a weary battleship coming in for drydock maintenance, every time it's opened or closed. Now a word about service person Joshua. He met me with warm, friendly countenance, continuing throughout. Obviously, he was fine technician'. At the same time, he was a fine teacher, explaining to me why he had to do what he would do. Patiently. Although I could have settled for lubrication of the multiple joints of our garage door and accepted the possibility that our rickety, noisy screws might last another year few months or so. I did not, preferring the problem settled at that time. Through it all, I experienced pleasantness, with none of the pressure that seems to come with a lot of service folk, who come to your door when you are stuck in such crisis. We are grateful. The installer of the new door was very efficient and did a great job. He started the job about 9:00 am, completed the job by 2:00 pm. He started by sawing up the old wood sliding door and hauled the debris away.

I had Caleb Winchester here to look at my door. I was told by another company I needed a new Garage door but after Caleb looked at it he noted I only needed a row and hinges replaced and I also had him replace the spring and a few others things to make the door easier to operate. Used their chat feature to describe the problem and schedule an appointment. Our garage door was not closing and the sensors were malfunctioning. The person scheduled the appointment for the next day with a follow-up email. The technician, Chewy Flanagan, arrived within the window scheduled, calling a half an hour before arrival. He listened to the problem and suggested some solutions but when he was at our house the garage door worked perfectly. A few hours after he left the garage door stopped working again so I called and set up another appointment for the next day. Mr. Flanagan returned and diagnosed the problem. He provided a temporary fix and suggested a few solutions to fix the problem. He was prompt and courteous in our interactions and was detailed in his explanations. We will definitely continue to use Precision Door Service for any future problems with our garage doors. From the chat feature to the phone call to the technician, all correspondence was too notch.
