The installer was Sheridan. I am glad to report that it was fast, efficient, neat (no mess left behind) and informative (he explained the system in easy terms and demonstrated all the "bells and whistles". Great professional. Ask me in a month to find out if it still works like a charm. I'm impressed with how quiet this system is. What a difference.

Fairly unhappy! You say you offer a senior discount being 72 it was not offered. Precision had originally installed the unit, I was told the system was not powerful enough and I needed a different one, I passed on it. He said the sensor was bad and recommended replacement of wire with sensor. Retail cost of both parts is about 50 dollars, less on Amazon. It took 15 min. to install and the total charge was 380 dollars. I felt taken advantage of.

Sheridan was the Technician that serviced my door which turned out to just need some lubrications. He was here about 20 minutes and solved the problem, however, I asked for a senior discount and he said he already gave me a discount on the service charge. I was told that fee would automatically be discounted if repairs were made. $224.00 seems excessive for the service.

Thank you for your fast attention to my problem. The roll-up garage door had come off its tract due to an accident with my car and needed to be put back in place. I feel I was overcharged ($1549) for what I needed, but being under duress I paid it. The door spring was not broken but I could not certify when I last had them replaced I had to purchase new ones. I never received a receipt for the 1st job done. I also need copy of Warranty and instruction to open the door when it's stuck. I needed to recharge my electric car but couldn't open the door. How do I open the door manually the next time it's stuck OR if we have a power outage. Just talked to the guy who fixed the door. He said labor charge is $89 and service call is $49.95. Shouldn't the service call fee be folded into the labor charge? Your fees are unreasonable and unfair! We are seniors on fixed income. Do not overcharge! Today's charge of $433.54 does not describe what was fixed.

bottom line the door got fixed! (broken spring) But the tech was very unhelpful, could not answer questions and tried to pad the bill with unwanted maint. Finally he was politely TOLD three times to PLEASE keep the gate shut, dogs. He disregared this. might look elsewhere next time!

I was very distressed as to how I was treated by the technician who came out to fix my garage door. He came at me with all guns blazing - quoting me an outrageous price, and doing it quite aggressively. I was shocked at both his manner and the price. He agreed finally just to do the minimal amount of work, and that still was a sky high amount of money. Just to cut the tangled cable so that the garage door would close would cost me $400 he said!!! After much discussion, during which the technician became increasingly more belligerent, he "called" the boss, and the price came down $100. I felt very bullied and taken advantage of. I would NEVER advise anyone using this company without getting at least two other quotes from other businesses. Being elderly, and a woman, I felt that he saw a "gottcha" opportunity, and went in for the kill. UPDATE: I just ended my phone conversation with Pat, who was following up my complaint about the service I had received from his company. He agreed to refund me some of the cost of the garage door repair, as I felt that I had been significantly over charged.
