Kept on telling me the springs were to weak all I wanted was the maintenance of the doors they are 7 years old and nothing is wrong with the springs I told him, finally he told me that it would cost 2 hundred bucks for each door to be serviced, They could have told me that on the phone when I ask the person on the phone how much does it cost for maintance we have to come out bull crap, the technician new what it cost after I told him the springs have been good for the last 7 years. They get 40 bucks just for showing up service call. Make them give you a rough estimate over the phone, not a good showing of service from the tech. They got me.

Honestly the person was not that helpful. He DID fix the issue, which was a GCFI switch on an electrical outlet. But BEFORE even looking at the power issue I described, he told me that I needed a new spring. NO WAY is that correct. It is 5 years old! He also said that he was "pretty sure" the spring was the wrong size. NO WAY! He also had a chincie step latter and needed to borrow my latter to reach the plug on the 11 foot garage ceiling. Bottom-line, I felt like he was not helpful, and while he acted knowledgeable, he lacked credibility with me. He was prompt and polite.

I'll start off by stating that the service was excellent. Sheridan came on time and finished very quickly. Scheduling was o.k. (agent stated 4 - 8pm; email stated 9 -11am which was incorrect). Other than that the scheduling process was easy. I was taken aback by the cost of the parts! I do not mind paying double retail due to convenience and I understand the technician having to carry inventory on his truck but the cost of the parts was surprising.

Very bad service. The service person came and did little-to-no valid checking's in the existing system. He directly want to change a new one and asked me to pay around $1500. I wasted by paying $49 for no reason. Please don't call them if you have issue with garage door opener.

My garage door opened failed. A friend recommended Precision Garage Door, so I gave them a call at 6:00 PM on a Saturday evening. They answered on the first ring and dispatched Sheridan Abad to my home at 11:00 AM Sunday morning. One of my decades-old garage door openers was making a horrible gear-grinding sound. Sheridan quickly diagnosed the problem, clearly communicated what was happening, and provided me with some good options. For me, reliability is paramount, so I had him replace the opener with a new LiftMaster. It's a quiet belt-driven unit with a battery backup. Now I can even open the door when the power is out. The unit also offers some cool features if you connect it to your Wi-Fi. Sheridan also replaced the door's old squeaky rollers and bearings. The operation is now silky smooth. I was impressed that Sheridan had a fully stocked vehicle with all the necessary spare parts. Getting this problem fully resolved in just one trip is a huge plus for me. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door for their professionalism, knowledge, and responsiveness. It was a wonderful experience.

I had called to have a technician sent out to my home to assist with servicing my garage door and resetting our current door openers. The technician shared that we needed a new motor and that our openers were too old to fix. In less than 5 minutes (arrival, inspection, and quote) we received a quote for a new door opener at $800. Needless to say, we paid the $50 fee for coming out. My husband was able to do some research online and found out how to reprogram our current door opener for free! Needless to say, I was not impressed with being quoted $800 and paying a $50 service fee for a job that could’ve been done in 5 minutes and required no new motor!
