Mario and his colleague did a great job explaining the problems with my old non-functioning door opener and the options for repair and replacement. They worked efficiently, finished the installation of the new opener and door springs within the estimated time, cleaned up the area, and then walked my wife and me through the installation of the iPhone app and the operation of the new opener. We were very happy with their work!

I used Precision like 10 years ago for some maintenance but then ended up using another company for a new motor a couple of years ago mostly because I forgot who I used previously. Today a spring broke on my huge steal insulated double door. Initially I couldn't get it open even with pulling the emergency lever. It was way too heavy for one person. So I called this other company that installed the motor and told them, "I have an emergency. Can't get the door open". "Sorry they told me. We are booked four days out". Next I called Precision and they sent someone out within 3 hours. In the meantime I went on youtube and figured out how to open a door with a broken spring so I could get my cars out. Garrett from Precision showed up and handled the repair for a reasonable price. Here is the bottom line. If you pick a garage door company for a door, a motor, whatever and they don't have an emergency service setup like Precision has you'll be calling Precision anyway if something goes really wrong and you need same day service. Save yourself the trouble and just go with Precision. Garrett was super nice and an expert at handling everything and Precision cared that I needed service right away. Thanks Precision you guys rock!

He explained everything that needed to be done to get my garage door to function properly and when it came to the price, he gave me three options to decide from as I didn’t have a garage door opener to operate my garage remotely. I was sold a new garage door motor for a total of $2,146.00. All I needed was a new chain. The motor has always worked. An estimate for a new motor was emailed to me before the technician arrived - I assumed that was a maximum figure - not one that would apply after the technician viewed the minor problem in my case. The technician told me the old motor was not adequate. I don't believe that was true. He was dismantling the system as he spoke - it seemed too late to change this process. He had called the company and asked the price - then he had shown me his computer with the price. What I saw was $197 and some odd cents. I told him that when he came in with the bill. He said I couldn't expect to get a new motor for such a low price. Were there less expensive options? The technician was apparently trained to avoid any discussion of this issue.

Warning Warning, this company will pull a scam on you. I have already reported them to the Better Business Bureau. About two weeks ago I called Precision Garage door because my garage stopped working. Someone by the name Paulino showed up. He was very pleasant. He walked through the garage and immediately said that everything had to be changed and will cost $900.00. I told him that I was on Social Security Disability and can not afford that since I am on a fixed income. He went to his truck and sat there for about five minutes on the phone. He came back and told me that he could fix it for $770. I explained to him again that I could not afford that and I may have to wait or try to borrow money from friends. He also mentioned to me that the company who installed the garage door is not in business any longer which was a lie. He left and I contacted Ace's Garage Door Repair and Installation. Asher is the name of the person from the Ace's Garage and he said he had to change the limit switch. He had to order the part and came back in one week and fixed it and the garage works perfectly now. He also gave me the option of upgrading the Garage for $330. but I decided to not do that. I contacted the owner of Precision Garage and explained the scam his employee was trying to pull on me. He acted as if he had no clue and did not want me to report him to BBB.

Our garage door broken down yesterday, since I had the opener replaced by precision last year, I decided to call them again. I am happy with their service, the technician Jerry Parker is excellent. He call me before arrival, he explained to me what need to be replaced and done. He and his partner are very efficient. We find out the Spring was broken, he recommended me to replaced the cables, rollers, drum, loose bearing, end bearing plates. I decided to add the keypad at the end. It cost me but I got 5 year parts and one year labor warranty. Overall, they are professional and efficient.

I rate Precision Door a 5. The door was measured and I had the option to pick out a door that I wanted . I chose an insulated door to keep the garage cooler when I returned. The color matches the color they wish to keep. The when closing, battery operated when need be

When you have a broken garage door look no further for assistance! The service team beginning with call in, appointment scheduling and most importantly, on time arrival all serves to support my five star rating. After three different estimates I decided that this is not the company for me. Why not give me the best price first, instead of changing it after I said the first two estimates were too much? So I lost $50 and now have to get another company to come out. Not happy.

I was very distressed as to how I was treated by the technician who came out to fix my garage door. He came at me with all guns blazing - quoting me an outrageous price, and doing it quite aggressively. I was shocked at both his manner and the price. He agreed finally just to do the minimal amount of work, and that still was a sky high amount of money. Just to cut the tangled cable so that the garage door would close would cost me $400 he said!!! After much discussion, during which the technician became increasingly more belligerent, he "called" the boss, and the price came down $100. I felt very bullied and taken advantage of. I would NEVER advise anyone using this company without getting at least two other quotes from other businesses. Being elderly, and a woman, I felt that he saw a "gottcha" opportunity, and went in for the kill. UPDATE: I just ended my phone conversation with Pat, who was following up my complaint about the service I had received from his company. He agreed to refund me some of the cost of the garage door repair, as I felt that I had been significantly over charged. I much appreciate his caring about his customers and wanting to make things right. Brenda Sakofsky
