Frist time using Precision. I have to say they live up to what we have all seen in there commercials. Arrived within the time frame they said they would. Did the full door inspection gave me best case worst case (had a broken spring) came in in the middle. Tech was very friendly explained what the process was and did the work. I will use them anytime I have a garage door issue in the future.

I decided on using Precision Door Service after seeing several TV commercials about their business, and I'm certainly glad I did. James Walker was our technician and he was prompt and did the work much faster than I thought it would take! Our door needed springs, cable and end bearing plates. A tad pricey, but as long as the door works perfectly fine and their work is guaranteed, it's a small price to pay. We had the same door serviced years ago (2014) and literally within 4-5 months it was inoperable again. I wasn't going to call that same company back. We are very pleased with the work done by James!!

Paul was out today, just two hours after making a call for a repair. In fact, Paul called us to see if he could come out earlier than our scheduled time, which was great for us! Tech was on time and explained what needed to be replaced. He was friendly and worked efficiently. The bill was a lot more than anticipated so he took time go over it item by item. Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, OSH, all give veterans 10% discount. While pleased with service next time will check around for lower pricing.

I was drawn to Precision because of its outstanding reviews and ratings. They didn't disappoint. We had one issue but I knew our garage door system was about 20 years old and was on its last legs. Paul Brinkman came when promised, identified the issues, gave me various options, we talked those options through, and a couple of hours later I had a new garage door opener, new springs, and a keypad on the outside. First rate service, great warranties ... I couldn't be happier!

I saw your ad in the newspaper, the East By Times and read reviews of your company. We had been having issues with a garage door purchased in 2008. It would open partially, stick then close. Unknown to me was that there were a slew of broken parts, notably the two springs on the 2 car door and deteriorated pulley wheels on both the single car and double car doors which no longer rolled but dragged, thus creating friction and increasing the load on the respective motors. Push came to shove when my wife backed into the double door when it stuck and rolled back down causing a pretty big dent in the door but miraculously not damaging her car. So I called and was able to secure an appointment the next day January 7th. Tim was our technician and did an excellent job. He showed me the parts that had to be replaced, explained why, and demonstrated the difference between my original stock roller wheels and the ones he replaced them with. He also reset the lift distance of both our doors so that it would not hit the stop bolt. He also noticed that one of the light sockets wasn't working and explained the likely cause and fixed that too. But the best part was he was able to nearly restore the outward appearance of the door so that it did not look like it had been pushed outward by my wife's car. Though it wasn't perfect, the only way to notice the slight misalignment of the panels would have been to go up to the door and look down at the panels to see it. When closed, it's impossible to see any misalignment and it clearly cannot be seen while driving up to and then opening the door. Yes it was "expensive" but not in comparison to having to replace the entire door. Essentially we now have a new door with upgraded components for a fraction of the cost of replacing the entire door, motor, etc. I am very pleased.

The technician you sent did an excellent job! He explained what was wrong with my door and showed me the bad parts, He showed me what and how to lubricant my door. He cleaned up after he was done. Unexpected broken torsion spring Sunday morning. Garage won’t open, not even manually. Called two garage repair companies before precision door east bay. First company was AAAA and they never called me back. The second company was precision door from a different location- they offered Monday AM repair. I called PDEB at 11:30 and they promised a 2-6 pm ETA. Repairman Danny called me at 2pm and arrived at 2:20. He was done by 3pm. Garage works great. Thanks Danny!!! Price was fair for product and fast service.

Our Garage door opener had an unfortunate breakage today and we were unable to open our garage door. Precision was great. They figured out the issues with our garage door and fixed them in 1 1/2 hours. Door now seems to work great- very quiet. They even helped us reinstall the codes on our cars to open the door.

I called late Tuesday afternoon and was able to have a technician out the next day. The process of scheduling was very smooth and was followed up with an email confirming the appointment time. Sheridan Abad was the Tech and he immediately confirmed we had a broken spring. He had to replace both springs and some bearings. I thought the overall price was a little steep. The quality of the work was excellent and was efficient. I had called the company who had installed the door and the soonest they could come was in a week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. This was not acceptable since we had to get into the garage and the only way in was through the broken door. I would recommend Precision for prompt quality service. The fact that Sheridan is a Rotarian made the experience even better.
