My garage door needed immediate attention so I decided to call local companies for a some advice and quote. The first two companies QUICKLY looked and recommended that I replace my motor for several hundreds of dollars. The Precision technician came to my home and did a thorough inspection. He took his time looked at every component of the garage and gave me his honest opinion. I can appreciate his attention to detail. At the end, PAUL BRINKMAN gave me multiple quotes and gave me tools to make a sound decision. PAUL replaced some springs and he made some adjustments. My garage door was fixed and did not need a motor after all. If and when I do need to replace that motor I know who to call first! Thank you PRECISION for sending an experienced technician. My garage door spring was broken this morning and the cars were trapped. A guick search led me to Precision. They answered the phone and promised the door could be fixed that day. I've had many experiences where the tech comes out to assess the problem than disappears for a few days to get parts. Not this time! I was delighted when Travis showed up the afternoon fully prepared to fix the problem. He gave me good advice on what needed to be done for a long term repair and communicated what he was doing as the job progressed. So before dinner the cars were liberated thanks to Travis and Precision. Job well done.

Kept on telling me the springs were to weak all I wanted was the maintenance of the doors they are 7 years old and nothing is wrong with the springs I told him, finally he told me that it would cost 2 hundred bucks for each door to be serviced, They could have told me that on the phone when I ask the person on the phone how much does it cost for maintance we have to come out bull crap, the technician new what it cost after I told him the springs have been good for the last 7 years. They get 40 bucks just for showing up service call. Make them give you a rough estimate over the phone, not a good showing of service from the tech. They got me.

Honestly the person was not that helpful. He DID fix the issue, which was a GCFI switch on an electrical outlet. But BEFORE even looking at the power issue I described, he told me that I needed a new spring. NO WAY is that correct. It is 5 years old! He also said that he was "pretty sure" the spring was the wrong size. NO WAY! He also had a chincie step latter and needed to borrow my latter to reach the plug on the 11 foot garage ceiling. Bottom-line, I felt like he was not helpful, and while he acted knowledgeable, he lacked credibility with me. He was prompt and polite.

We are very confident in Precision Door Service and know that their services are reliable and quick, even on weekends. The service fee is rather steep for shopping around and Precision's work has been on the higher end price-wise but we are pleased with their work.

Many thanks to our technician, Jonathan, for a job well done! Our old torsion springs were very worn, corroded, and out of adjustment. The new springs look great, are perfectly adjusted, and now the door opens and closes exactly how it should. It’s great to have our garage door functioning properly again! I chose your company because you have a 7/24 service and I could speak to a live person. That's important to me. My emergency garage door opener was not working and the lock had to be replaced. Your employee, Travis, came and did a very good job. He was courteous, professional and pleasant. The lock was replaced and the work was done well and in good time. James W. came out as scheduled after a courtesy call saying on his way. He immediately diagnosed the problem with our garage door - broken spring and sheared bracket, gave us an estimate and immediately began work which he completed in about an hour. He was very friendly and professional. Door seems to be working very smoothly now. We will definitely us Precision again if we have any other issues. Just an FYI, we had another company come out and look at our door the previous day. They said it couldn't be repaired and we would need a new door. So glad we decided to get a second opinion with Precision.

Replaced broken torsion spring the same day. Also made time to replace worn out rollers and cable. And installed new battery operated wifi enabled garage door opener! Now the door opens without any noise. My neighbors will likely be very happy too!

I simply needed a garage door spring replaced. Was told by the dispatcher that it would be ~$240 to replace. "Paul" came out and tried to upsell my wife on $900 worth of service. When I asked him to simply perform the service I asked for, he refused. He charged me ~$50 for the visit and left without doing anything. It is highly unlikely that I will ever call you for service again!

7/24 service is true and efficient , from the first call until job done, was a great experience . I Made the call at 8 pm , James and Matt showed up next day 8:30am , James called me 30 minutes before arrival. Your technician Sheridan was very instrumental and skillful in my delicate situation with my 2 years old opener, originally installed by Neighborhood Garage door service, which stoped service in CA state. His analyses were precise and right to the point, beter than blah, blah advises from system manufacturer Guardian from Texas. My problem was actually on my springs.

Precision put in a new garage door at my home three years ago. For the second time, a roller on one side got off the track. James was the representative who came to make the repair. He was prompt, courteous and helpful in explaining what had occurred and what he had done to remedy the problem. Noting that the issue should have been corrected on the first service call more than a year earlier, he did not charge me for the repair. (As field manager, he is empowered to make this decision.) I appreciated his honesty and willingness to make things right without further expense to me. Good service can be difficult to come by; I was happy to phone the office to pass along a commendation as well as to write this review. As a customer, the experience definitely inspires me to refer the company to friends and family.
