ou’re service guy that came to my place was awesome and honest. Your operator that picked the phone up was nice but I feel like I was lied to. I SPECIFICALY asked the price for a new opener ( the motor) as well as installation. I also asked how much it would cost to repair. I was TOLD $495 plus a discounted service call fee of $25. “ that’s it?” “ yes”. So for installation and repair of the door and the unit it’s $515 plus tax. Yea no. I spend over $515 for the repair and your tech told me it would be another $800 for a new unit and installation ( motor, drive rail, sensor eye and control). So in the end I went from expecting to spend just over $500 but in reality it would have cost me about $1400. I didn’t buy the new unit because of the “ missinfomation”. I would have had no problem spending that if I was originally quoted that. Thanks for the repair, he was good. Going to the next company for a replacement.

I never received a receipt for the 1st job done. I also need copy of Warranty and instruction to open the door when it's stuck. I needed to recharge my electric car but couldn't open the door. How do I open the door manually the next time it's stuck OR if we have a power outage. Just talked to the guy who fixed the door. He said labor charge is $89 and service call is $49.95. Shouldn't the service call fee be folded into the labor charge? Your fees are unreasonable and unfair! We are seniors on fixed income. Do not overcharge! Today's charge of $433.54 does not describe what was fixed.

bottom line the door got fixed! (broken spring) But the tech was very unhelpful, could not answer questions and tried to pad the bill with unwanted maint. Finally he was politely TOLD three times to PLEASE keep the gate shut, dogs. He disregared this. might look elsewhere next time!

Coming home from shopping at 7:30PM, I heard a loud bang and discovered my garage door won't open. I called Precision Door Service at about 8 PM and was able to talk to a live person who was very pleasant and helpful, not an answering machine. He arranged a technician to come the following morning between 8:00 and Noon. At around 9:30AM, James W. was at my door to repair the garage door. He was professional, communicated his findings, made recommendations, and was very efficient and knowledgeable as he completed the work in a little over a hour.
