Bachir Gharbi was very helpfull breaking down options for replacement phases for my door opener, springs, and other parts of the system. His work was done in very timely manner. He did a good job with final safety test demostration and the setup of the smart controller. I choose Precision because they were rated better compared to afew other local companies for residential garage door service and repair

We were very satisfied with the work done on our garage today. An appointment was available very quickly and our workman and his helper were on time, respectful and polite, provided good communication about what they were doing, pricing was clear and free of any up-sells, and most importantly did good quality, timely work to fix our garage door. It wasn’t cheap, but seemed to be going-rate for Bay Area. We would use Precision again.

The senior technician Sheridan abad showed up within the time frame of appointment and was very courteous on dealing with the problem we had on the garage door spring. He gave us options for spring replacement and advantages of the better choice. A very professional and knowledgeable technician who knows what he is talking about. The job was done within the promised time or maybe less.

Travis come out right on time and quickly diagnosed the problem we were having and provided different options. Ultimately we choose to have him repair/replace the springs/coils lifting the garage door and replace the garage door opener with a new and better piece of equipment. Travis was great--professional and knowledgeable and explained what he was going to do and how it would work. He performed all the necessary repair (and replacement at the initial call for service. Thanks!

Precision has been reliable and their pricing and repairs remain fair, there’s no reason to switch. Sticking with a trusted company makes sense, especially when they’ve consistently met my needs. With it- last repair was some screws were loos on my garage door panels. For this repair I was expecting - NO COST!!!

So amazing. I had another company come out for a broken spring. The technician ended up bending the torsion rod causing issue with the side mount opener and refused to own the mistake. Precision Garage door sent Sheridan out to fix it, and he did outstanding work. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and was sympathetic to the issue with the other company. After he was done replacing the torsion rod and putting the correct size springs on, and replacing the wheels, my 30+ year old opens smoother and quieter than a brand new door!!! I can’t recommend precision enough.

Precision Garage Door has become my “ Go To “ for any Garage Door issues. I used them again this week because the sensor was having a problem ,, I used the info that the agent had taught me ( it was actually a Tutorial, the first time I had them here to replace motors etc I safely brought the door down for over night ( safety and privacy) The agent came out the next morning,,, there was a small leaf in the sensor , blocking it . He showed me , and then went on to tweak anything he saw necessary And only charged me for the service fee . And,,, in the process I learned more about the door operation Very good company!

Castro Valley, CA
I’ve used precision twice and both times the outcome was very satisfying and they do a great job installing garage door systems. This time around I had them install a new motor with belt track new spring garage door wheels and new sensors took the technician about four hours, but the price was valuable. Very quality. Very high-tech motor with LED lighting very quiet and it makes a lot of sense to me! It’s a great company. I’d recommend these guys over anybody! Thanks precision door great job!

The installer ( Travis) did very fast and I appreciate it but I have some concerned as I identified below, the cost is really expensive but the speed is commensurate. I can give five star once my concerned below will be addressed. I want somebody from Precision to tell me why the spring if I check seems it is not being tighten, I did not see the spring is being tighten as the normal way, when I asked Daryl why I did not see him tightening the spring he said he did it while in the ground because he has no room because of our cars, I told him we can push the car if it is necessary but he said its fine. This is questionable to me I just want to get the opinion of another installer if this is possible. I am also inquiring to my friend who is a garage installed but he already retired. The spring is the same length as when is not being installed and when I touch the spring it seems loose. When I tried to do it manually and raise up the garage it balance but it needs to exert effort (exert effort to open and when the door is about a foot below the floor of the garage it will drop due to each own weight the spring is not doing the job to keep the garage on the open, in my opinion the garage door should not be closing by its own weight but instead a little bit of push by the door closer) this means the door closer will be the one to close and open the garage door the spring seems not doing the job??. If this is the case then the door closer will soon be damage. I want somebody to tell me if this is correct. I change all the roller and the cable and the spring for $2100.00 is this really how expensive to repair a garage now a days? but I authorized it so its me to be blamed, because we really need our garage door to be working on that day. In my opinion in any location the garage should not fall freely using its own weight, this is very dangerous , but it should be by a little push from the door closer for safety. I don't believe that the door should drop even the door is only few inches above the ground. This means if my pet is under the garage say the garage door is 10 inches above the ground and the door closer cable will break then my pet will be at risk or will die if the garage closer cable will break??. In my opinion the spring should keep the garage balance and the door closer minor push to close it for safety, this means nobody will get hurt even small pert. Same as when the garage needs to be open, the door closer should exert a very minimum pull and the garage spring should do the job??. I need somebody to call me at 510-6858614, this is very important, the way the garage door right now that drops by its own weight is dangerous. I need ASAP another installer to show me that the spring is working as I identified above. As an engineer, this should be the case as I describe above, the spring should prevent the door to drop by its own weight, the spring should do the job to prevent the door to drop at any height from the ground so that nobody get hurt even a small pet when the door closer cable will break. May be when the door is already 2" or 1" above the floor its own weight will be the okay to drop .

The service repair man was very good. He was polite, friendly and was very knowledgeable about the equipment. He replaced a broken spring, wires and rollers within an hours time. Informed me what the cost would be up front and went to work. I would not hesitate to recommend Precision for their fine work and service team.
