Raised in Minnesota, I came to California in the '80's. I was born to do this job, I have the knack for fixing things plus my height comes in handy for working on things overhead. I installed my first Garage Door in 1980 while in the Air National Guard. I have been fixing things for clients my whole life. When I'm not working I enjoy dining out or catching a movie with family or friends. I also like to travel, and am a fan of the TV show Family Guy. I'm often playing Texas Hold 'em Saturday nights. I enjoy working with clients, I always put the customer first. I will not just fix it, I will be sure you are satisfied with the job, and all your questions are answered.

I placed a call to Precision for a service visit on Monday. I received confirmation a technician would arrive Tuesday between 4-6Pp. Paul B arrived at 4:30p. We discussed my garage door situation. Paul listened, and presented me with 3 options and associated quotes. I selected one and asked when we could start. Paul said immediately. He had with him on the truck all the parts needed for my job. He let me know when he expected to finish, kept me informed along the way, and completed all the work on time. The tech came to my house is for the money only. He came didn’t do anything I was complaining my GARADGE door not closing it open but cannot closed, all he does is stood by the censor and let me push the bottom on the wall and he said nothing wrong with it, so I ask him so your not gonna do anything I alredy told him that is not closing and he said I need a new GARADGE so basically he just came there to collect the money for him to come to my house, and try sell me a new GARADGE which skyrocket prices. He was gonna charge me almost 1,700 for just a new motor that you can buy at Home Depot for 240. Insane I wish I got his name as soon as I see him I just knew he no good, I use precision GARADGE before I have a good guy fix the problem without hesitate problem solve. But one employee that is not doing a good job will pull the business down.

Paul was out today, just two hours after making a call for a repair. In fact, Paul called us to see if he could come out earlier than our scheduled time, which was great for us! Tech was on time and explained what needed to be replaced. He was friendly and worked efficiently. The bill was a lot more than anticipated so he took time go over it item by item. Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, OSH, all give veterans 10% discount. While pleased with service next time will check around for lower pricing.

3 year old Garage door metal coils came unwound on saturday so garage door would not open or close. Called the Precision garage door number, was promptly answered by the attendant who gave me a same day apt time frame from 12:00 to 4:00pm and told me that Paul Brinkman would be attending to the broken garage door. He arrived an hour later and fixed the broken coils and pointed out other parts that may get damaged in the next few years, it wasn't precision doors that installed this actual garage door 3 years ago & pointed out that the original company used cheap parts for the door. I got a 90 day work and 1 year warranty for the parts they replaced. Prompt, same day service, fast and responsive and excellent customer service, and the garage door works great again! I'd been having issues with my garage door not closing sometimes, finally was tired of dealing with it and called Precision Door on a Monday morning. That afternoon they sent out technician Paul B. and he was great!. He assessed everything, took his time explaining and showing me the issues that were most likely causing my problem. He quoted me 3 different options. I felt no pressure to hurry up and make a decision or about which option I choose. Once I made my decision I was very happy to learn he had everything he needed on his truck to complete the job. Within a few hours I had a garage door that closed & was working better than ever. Precision presented itself as a professional business on its website and again when I called and talk to a representative who was courteous and helpful in setting up an earliest as possible appointment. Paul, the repairman who came to our house, was very knowledgeable. He spotted problems with our garage door that were about to get worse.The price he quoted was reasonable and he did the work efficiently and explained everything he was doing and why. I was drawn to Precision because of its outstanding reviews and ratings. They didn't disappoint. We had one issue but I knew our garage door system was about 20 years old and was on its last legs. My garage door has been making popping/banging sounds when closing. Called Precision GD and was able to get service the same day....what a relief. Paul arrived on time; assessed the issues (many by the way); then proceeded to work to replace..rollers, Liftmaster door opener, a few hinges and cable. So happy to have a QUIET, smooth door with battery backup and best of all, a motion detector to turn on my garage light! Highly recommend Precision GD to anyone needing help with their garage door. You will not be disappointed!

I called at 7:30am on a Friday morning. Alyssa answered the phone, and scheduled an appointment window from 8am-noon the same day. The technician, Paul, called at 9:30am to say he would be there by 10am. He showed up on time, created a detailed quote for the repairs needed. He said it would take about 90 minutes to fix. Ninety minutes later, he finished the job and provided me a complete printed invoice for my records. The garage door is back in service.

I simply needed a garage door spring replaced. Was told by the dispatcher that it would be ~$240 to replace. "Paul" came out and tried to upsell my wife on $900 worth of service. When I asked him to simply perform the service I asked for, he refused. He charged me ~$50 for the visit and left without doing anything. It is highly unlikely that I will ever call you for service again!
