Raised in Minnesota, I came to California in the '80's. I was born to do this job, I have the knack for fixing things plus my height comes in handy for working on things overhead. I installed my first Garage Door in 1980 while in the Air National Guard. I have been fixing things for clients my whole life. When I'm not working I enjoy dining out or catching a movie with family or friends. I also like to travel, and am a fan of the TV show Family Guy. I'm often playing Texas Hold 'em Saturday nights. I enjoy working with clients, I always put the customer first. I will not just fix it, I will be sure you are satisfied with the job, and all your questions are answered.

I had called Precision about 2 years ago when the spring broke and they came out to replace it on a Sunday - yeah. I recently called again when the door was failing to go down all the way and Paul Brinkman came out. He explained that he could adjust it - which he did and the door went all the way down - or I could replace the opener. I decided to replace it as it was probably 25 years old and probably had seen its day. I just thought that worked problem free for 25 years and had seen its day.

Absolutely impressed and satisfied with the professional work that Mr. Paul Brinkman did for me. First he got here on time and greeted me with a friendly demeanor. He explained that the parts on my garage door were out of date and what it would take to to get it back to working conditions. He gave me the pricing on three different options he broke down and explained everything. Once we agreed on what work was going to be done he got straight to work. Imagine my surprise when I couldn't open my garage door and get my car out. I called them and explained my situation. That day, Paul Brinkman, their technician, was at my house with all the supplies he needed, gave me three options for the repair, and he explained them well. Paul called indicating about what time he would be at my home and said he would call again when he was on the road and how long it would take; which he did. The garage door needed better rollers which I authorized Paul to do. The work was done quickly and efficiently. I tested closing the garage door and am happy that it is now working properly.

Our garage door broke and we were told by one company we needed to replace the door. We called Precision and the door was repaired inexpensively. Today our other garage door came off its track and Precision came and educated us on the "eye beam" and the 10 clicks if it's an eye problem versus no clicks if the door is prevented from closing. I can't speak highly enough for the two representatives that we've had through Precision. They are our go to for our garage door problems in the future.

We called late on a Friday because our garage door would not close and our regular garage door service provider could not come out. Precision responded to my call and scheduled service within a couple hours, calling ahead and arriving within the given time frame. The repair turned out to be much more complicated than originally estimated but Paul stayed within the estimate and stayed until almost midnight completing the project. Very professional and helpful--coaching my not-so-handy son on what he was doing and what to look for in the future. Precision is our new go-to provider!

As luck would have it, my garage door broke a spring on a Saturday. I was going out of town for a week the following day and needed it fixed that day. Of the local companies I called, none could help me same day and some did not answer the phone. I have seen Precision's add several times. I called them and explained the situation. I have been using Precision for years with my heavier than normal garage door. I am a difficult customer, I call them back and get feisty. They remain professional and maybe even are used to me after all these years, coming out in all kinds of weather and hours to service my annoying garage door. I will continue to use them and recommend them to neighbors and friends. I have my favorite technicians, James W and Paul B. but happily I haven't gone through all the techs.

All according to plan from the appointment to the call from Paul telling me when he would arrive, to the neat truck, masked, touchless transaction, complete walk through of the inspection and repairs needed, quick quote and efficient repairs - left me with a quiet, gliding door that I expect to last another 15 years or more.
