When I had made an appointment, the front desk person assigned a technician. And, if there was any changes of technician's base on a change of assignment that I would be notified, that never happened. Aside from that, David L. called to let us know that he was on his way. David worked meticulous in rebuilding 80% of a 24 yr old garage door. He explained what to be replace and eventually showed the worn parts. David also took the time to instruct/inform of a yearly preventative maintenance. Whereas just fix it and run (this was other companies that my neighbors had used). This would have been a 5 star for David, if not for the front desk.

My wife is a Realtor for Legacy Real Estate & Associates in Fremont. She has used Precision in he past for her customers who are very happy with the results. Our situation is that the main strong broke Thursday night before Christmas Holiday. Friday morning when I discovered our situation I thought...this is great. i won't be able to get somebody out until after the long holiday weekend. As a result I called Precision Garage Door and explained our situation and urgency. I was put on hold and after a few minutes I was told they were able to move another customer appt. in order to get our's done yesterday. 30 minutes later James arrived. He inspected our equipment and gave three options for repairing our door within 15 minutes. We accepted one of their proposals and the work started. 90 minutes later James had finished and his work was great. Yeah. Joel came out and serviced our 13 year old garage door. It runs like new. He was very knowledgeable and informed us of what was needed. He replaced cables, rollers , and bottom brackets. He even helped me program the care remote that I was having trouble doing. He took about an hour and went through everything. Thanks Joel for getting us back on track. Literally!

Overall experience was good. Super pricey for the amount of work that was done. 20 minutes worth of work for $350 ????. The assistant was great. He did most of the work while the main guy supervised. Wish I had more time to shop around for a better price.

Amazing company. From the customer service who was professional, pleasant and was able to fit me a same day appt., to the technician Joel that called before he was going to arrive, I couldn't have asked for a more professional service. Our 20 yr + Liftmaster started having issues a couple of days prior but was able to get it to work eventually until last evening. I couldn't get the door to stay down. In the past whenever this would happen it typically was due to a windy day when a cover we have hanging in just inside our garage door would trigger the sensor to think something was in the way. However yesterday I did look to see that this wasn't the issue, albeit it was a windy evening. Of course when Joel came, the door closed without incident. After investigating, he mentioned it may be the motherboard given the age of the Liftmaster. I love how Joel throughly investigated what may be the cause, thinking outside of the box. He listened intently to my description of what was happening and answered all my inquisitive questions about the system. He did find three hinges that were cracked so had him replace those and do a maintenance check since we never oiled the hinges. After the maintenance,the door was very quiet and worked like a fine well oiled machine. Given after many attempts of opening and closing the door without any hiccups, I decided to forego replacing the Liftmaster but he was nice enough to email me the quotes for the new system. I couldn't have asked for a nice technician to come out. Very knowledge, friendly and professional.
