Pretty stressful start to the wknd when our garage door’s overhead torsion spring cracked. Called Precision and was lucky to get in their books for same-day service. I was slated from 4-8p window but got even luckier when Travis Behn showed up at 2pm. He came over and was very courteous and built trust right away. He qualified us and assessed everything 100% before making the right recommendation. He did not pressure us but instead guided us into what was the best solution. Pricing was very fair and Travis worked expeditiously to get the job (torsion springs, shaft, rollers/wires) done in about 2.5-3 hours. Garage has never operated this well and he even made recommendations for future longevity. Highly recommend Precision and Travis!

Had a broken spring and needed same day service. Called at 6am on a Saturday and talked to a live operator. She got an appointment for 10am, that was awesome. My garage door spring was broken this morning and the cars were trapped. A guick search led me to Precision. They answered the phone and promised the door could be fixed that day. I've had many experiences where the tech comes out to assess the problem than disappears for a few days to get parts. Not this time! I was delighted when Travis showed up the afternoon fully prepared to fix the problem. He gave me good advice on what needed to be done for a long term repair and communicated what he was doing as the job progressed. So before dinner the cars were liberated thanks to Travis and Precision. Job well done.

I used Presision a while ago to have my garage remotes programmed and was very pleased withthe service. also chose Precision, because they are a Richmond company and family owned. I am very satisfied with the service received, the technician first evaluated what my need was, took time to develop a detailed description of what was needed to be done and provided a quote on what it would cost. Once discussed he started on the project. Completed it in about 2 hours, we did a demo. on how everthing operated and he pointed out everthing that was done. Excellent work. Very happy with the job. I am very impressed with Precision. I had other people come to fix my garage door that would open sometimes. For 5 years I had to close it manually half the time. Frustrated, I googled the company that makes the garage door and explained that I wanted an expert to come over and check it out. The next morning, I received a call from a lovely woman at Precision. I explained my frustration and she sent a man named Travis to assess the door within a few hours. I was amazed at the prompt response. Travis arrived and did a complete evaluation of the door in about 10 minutes. Told me to bring up some light bulbs for the door. He then gave me an education about the mechanics of the door and how he fixed my sensors and how to maintain the door. He told me he went across the street at different angles the door works. I was sort of in disbelief. He showed me how to use the clicker properly also. Then, he had me put the AP in my phone and walked me through it which was extremely helpful. I don’t think I could of done it by myself the first time. My garage door opens with the clicker or my AP on my phone. Words cannot describe how much I appreciated Travis explaining to me the mechanisms of the door and how to troubleshoot it. This was a terrific experience with a professional.
