Travis was running late with the customer before me so he called to let me know the situation and then arrived when he said he would. I needed a lot of work on my garage door, new springs, new cables, a couple of new hinges, etc.. Travis explained everything and although the price was a surprise I had him do the work. Travis did an outstanding job.

The tech came to my house is for the money only. He came didn’t do anything I was complaining my GARADGE door not closing it open but cannot closed, all he does is stood by the censor and let me push the bottom on the wall and he said nothing wrong with it, so I ask him so your not gonna do anything I alredy told him that is not closing and he said I need a new GARADGE so basically he just came there to collect the money for him to come to my house, and try sell me a new GARADGE which skyrocket prices. He was gonna charge me almost 1,700 for just a new motor that you can buy at Home Depot for 240. Insane I wish I got his name as soon as I see him I just knew he no good, I use precision GARADGE before I have a good guy fix the problem without hesitate problem solve. But one employee that is not doing a good job will pull the business down.

Precision presented itself as a professional business on its website and again when I called and talk to a representative who was courteous and helpful in setting up an earliest as possible appointment. Paul, the repairman who came to our house, was very knowledgeable. We needed our opener replaced. The existing opened was only 18/19 years old. Our installer, James, fully explained my options for a new opener and quoted a price and instal time. I called at 7:30am on a Friday morning. Alyssa answered the phone, and scheduled an appointment window from 8am-noon the same day. The technician, Paul, called at 9:30am to say he would be there by 10am. He showed up on time, created a detailed quote for the repairs needed. He said it would take about 90 minutes to fix. Ninety minutes later, he finished the job and provided me a complete printed invoice for my records. The garage door is back in service.

Excellent job by the installer. Fast service, honest estimate, cleaned up all materials. Can't speak yet as to the durability of the garage door opener, but it's working fine so far. The rolling code is a safer technology than the old dip switch, fixed code, and it was a needed upgrade. Ability to open the door with a smartphone eliminates carrying a remote around. Nobody should leave an opener on their visor, name and address is right there on your car registration. Precision has provided some important safety features for us. Good job!

Daniel Yang was our technician. He called ahead to let us know he was on his way which is always appreciated. Daniel was very professional and knowledgeable about our door. We had a spring that broke, however Daniel Noticed that many of the wheels that lift the door were not rotating causing drag on the opener. He suggested replacing them which we did. Very happy with his service/repair although my husband didn’t like the grease marks that were left on the outside of the door! He still deserved 5 stars!! We had called Sunday afternoon and our appointment was Scheduled for the next day between 8-12 with Daniel arriving about 8:30 from Sacramento!!

Danny Y. was professional, courteous and helpful. He gave me all the prices for repairing or replacing my 1985 garage door and explained the benefits of each approach. He went out of his way to help me close my heavy broken door after helping me get my car out, where it was stuck when the door broke. My wife and I selected a new metal rollup door with decorative windows, as well as a new opener with battery backup. We are looking forward to the installation.
