My name is Gabriel Van Blake. I live in the Bay Area and have been here my whole life. I love being so close to both the ocean and the snow, it’s the best of both worlds. I like to spend time with my wife and two daughters, and golf with my brothers. I’m a huge sports fan, go A’s! I’ve worked as a garage door installer and technician for 3 years and love it. I enjoy working with my hands and getting to travel to different parts of the Bay Area.

I needed a new garage door opener. Precision gave me accurate price information on the phone and came out the next day to install one. My installation required a little more effort than "standard" which they handled without complaint (or extra charge). Gabiriel V and Joel J did a great job and were really helpful and personable.

I want to express to the company and the installers employees that I had the best experience ever!! please give to Larry 10 stars , that help me with his first consultation on 8/1/2020 he is courteous, friendly and the patience the explain every detail. please send Larry again because I want to do my second garage. I have a 2 garage and I only did one because I was concern about the final look. Im very impressed with the quality of the door . please call me tomorrow to set up another appointment to do the second garage door, I was thinking to close it and make a wall but after I talk to my neighbors and saw the result , I can't wait to do the second door. Made a same day appointment with Precision to install torsion springs to replace extension springs, and to install a Liftmaster 8500 opener. Technician Gabriel called ahead, arrived early and was.very pleasant. I told him what I wanted to have done. He worked up an estimate. The only issue I have with Precision is the VERY high price I was charged for the opener. More than double what I could have paid online. I don't mind Precision making a reasonable profit, but MAN!. I almost did not have this part of the work done because of this price, and was doing to just have Gabriel do the spring replacement, which I can't easily do. But I would have had to install the opener myself, (which I have done in the past--not difficult), but since Gabriel was there and had everything needed to do the job, I went ahead and had the whole thing done. He did a great job, set everything up, showed me how it worked, and cleaned up. Great representative of your company. Mostly a great experience. I am only mildly bitter at the price I paid for the unit, hence the 4 stars. I will get over it eventually. But MAN!
