To have your call answered by a person is always a good start in today's world. To have someone come out same day on a weekend (no extra charge for weekend) is even better. Sheridan came out and explained the issue. Not the opener as suspect but the drive mechanism. The door had simply fallen, crashing down. Scared the heck out of my 94 year-old mom. But Sherdan inspected the door itself and said it was okay, no need to replace. It wasn't cheap but knowing this company has a solid reputation, is Diamond Certified, Angie Approved, made it easy for me to just go with them and not waste a lot of time getting other estimates. Sheridan was great with my mom and had her garage door back in business in a couple hours. He applied all possible discounts, including Senior Discount. I will use Precision again when needed.

Excellent experience! The technician installing the door and opener was friendly, courteous, and on time (that's important)! Very good work, programmed all of the remotes and reviewed how the door operates. And the product is very impressive too. Highly recommend these guys!

I wasn't satisfied with the service, because the service person said he cannot look into the opener as it does not have battery backup. I insisted him to at least open and see and let me know what the issue was let alone fixing it. If I was asking to install a new opener and it didn't have battery backup that makes sense to not work on it, but to repair the existing one I was told it couldn't be done. Mine was detached garage, so it could have been given consideration without the battery backup model. The service visit was of no use and I paid $70 compared to the $49.95 advertised in the newspaper. When I called back to set an appointment to install a new opener that I purchased, I was told that 3rd party openers will not be installed and only the openers sold by precision garage door service will be installed. I didn't have a good experience. I selected your service based on a neighbor referral. They bought an opener and got it installed but for me that type of service was refused. Please provide the service worth the service charge.

Travis was running late with the customer before me so he called to let me know the situation and then arrived when he said he would. I needed a lot of work on my garage door, new springs, new cables, a couple of new hinges, etc.. Travis explained everything and although the price was a surprise I had him do the work. The technician came by and was rude from the beginning and basically said I need to replace everything except the door and the opener at a cost of 1300 and all I need is the springs replaced. When I called they said fixing each spring would just cost 269 or so but after the person came to fix, the cost was much different. When I asked to speak with a manager, he asked me to call the office and he left. Very poor service.

Lorenzo did a great job diagnosing our opener problems, fixing them, doing basic maintenance, and identifying potential problems without inappropriate sales pressure. He even found a way to avoid unnecessary expenses! I am pleased I selected Precision, an East Bay located service, for this job.

Our service tech was Andrey Brodsky. He was outstanding!, Courteous and professional in his craft. He replaced our old and burned garage door opener. We decided to also replace the the large spring, the cables, the remotes & keypad. The old system was installed in 2004. it was time to replace them all. So glad we did. The cost was very reasonable. It only took under 1.5 hours to replace them all. Thank you!

Another attempt at price gouging. $1000-$2000 estimate for a broken spring, depending on how far we wanted to take the repair. Had another company come by and is fixing it for $395 total final price. Wish I would have read the other reviews about my Tech before he got here. I would have cancelled. Apparently others have had the same experience. They must work on commission.

Travis did an excellent job at repairing our garage door. I requested same-day service and he came out within two hours of the request. He assessed the problem, thoroughly communicated the problem, and recommended what exactly needed to be done. He informed me of the price to replace and repair the door. I opted for the repair as I wanted to keep the cost down. Travis installed brackets, plates, wires/cables, rollers, springs, and struts - I may be simplifying here because it was a little more involved than as I described. Overall, the issue was fixed and our garage door is as good as new and strongly reinforced! Travis is professional, prompt, proficient, and kind. I highly recommend Travis for your garage door issues. Five stars!

Pretty stressful start to the wknd when our garage door’s overhead torsion spring cracked. Called Precision and was lucky to get in their books for same-day service. I was slated from 4-8p window but got even luckier when Travis Behn showed up at 2pm. He came over and was very courteous and built trust right away. He qualified us and assessed everything 100% before making the right recommendation. He did not pressure us but instead guided us into what was the best solution. Pricing was very fair and Travis worked expeditiously to get the job (torsion springs, shaft, rollers/wires) done in about 2.5-3 hours. Garage has never operated this well and he even made recommendations for future longevity. Highly recommend Precision and Travis!

Had a broken spring and needed same day service. Called at 6am on a Saturday and talked to a live operator. She got an appointment for 10am, that was awesome. Travis was my technician and he really knew his stuff. My garage opener was 20 years old. Travis replaced everything from the springs to a new opener. Loved the service and will recommend. Right on time to start the work and completed the installation within the time window (10 am to 2.00 pm). The door works great and new motor with WiFi camera and backup battery all working perfectly fine. No noise while operating the door. The most reliable contractors for fixing garage doors.
