Called in about noon and was given an appointment between 4-6pm same day - amazing! The technician called about 3:30pm to ask if he could come early - yeah! I had hit the garage door as I was backing out and now it needed to be repaired asap. The technician, Mario Mojica, was awesome. He repaired it and I ordered a new door. He went out of his way to clear out an area so that when the new door comes in there will be plenty of clearance for the installation. But the best part of this experience was that Mario was able to come earlier than scheduled which I appreciated greatly.

I am so impressed with the service call I had today. My garage door when closing would hit the ground and bounce back up, it took 5-6x’s before it would stay closed. It seems wrong springs were put in, and Precision put in new springs at no charge. They are honest and reputable because they were the ones who put them in last year. Absolutely impressed and satisfied with the professional work that Mr. Paul Brinkman did for me. First he got here on time and greeted me with a friendly demeanor. He explained that the parts on my garage door were out of date and what it would take to to get it back to working conditions. He gave me the pricing on three different options he broke down and explained everything. Once we agreed on what work was going to be done he got straight to work. Currently I am overseas on Business and was not there to coordinate with the service person. I am satisfied with the promptness of the service however disappointed that my wife was not offered the 3 year warranty. Nor was she shown the "Best" as indicated in the email I received. Only difference I saw was the warranty length and an additional cable The price of the replacement battery started out at $155 which is a pretty big mark-up as I can purchase myself for $49. My indicated the service guy said he reduced the price by 50% but still a high price in my opinion. More disappointed with not having the 3 year warranty than anything else. My 5 year warranty on the original repair in 2015 had just expired on June 27 and would have liked to seen a new 5 year warranty offered.

Sheridan arrived promptly, did a full inspection of the system and offered many options for service. I initially opted for a more budget friendly service, which Sheridan promptly initiated. After consulting with the boss, which she pointed out the importance of a safe installation, of a major security feature of the house was our priority, we opted to get all the recommendations done. Sheridan completed all the work within the hour, made sure I understood my invoice and how completing all the work would save us money in the long run. He showed me all the parts he replaced and we tested the garage door before he left. He didn’t leave a mess and was respectful of our house and all the COVID / Social distancing protocols while working. This is our first home so there was some sticker shock but overall from start to finish, from calling after hours and getting a person (Derek) to book us, to Sheridan arriving on Labor Day and getting the work done, their professionalism and service is worth it.

Precision charged me $125 for $4 bearing at HomeDepot. Two bearings cost $250. It is understandable if I only replace a bearing. But, no! I am replacing 2 springs at the same time. The labor for replacing each bearing takes ~5 minutes. I will not use Precision again. Very bad charging practice.
