I have purchased 2 garage doors from Precision Garage Door in the past. The latest one is so quiet and was recommended by the service man. Upon putting in a new spring the gentleman checked out everything and mentioned that I will be needing some additional work as a few parts will be wearing out in the future. He did not try to sell me more, just gave some advice. He was very professional.

I think the service was overpriced... $300 for a 30 minute repair is high, bay area or no. No explanation on what was broken and needed repairing or replacing. The tech essentially gave a price list... $300 to repair the opener, $600 to replace it or $1000 to repair/replace worn/broken parts including those on the door. When I told him I could replace the door for $1100 he said that would cost $2000. Take your pick. So, my choice was either throw away $50 or pay at least another $250 for the repair. I needed the door working so chose the repair. BTW Paulino, make sure everything works after the job is done. Nothing worse coming home to find out the opener light bulb doesn't work. That cost you a star.

My car was trapped in my garage. I called Precision and they came out within a couple of hours.. I could not believe the man could fix it while the car was still there; but he did. The door works great now. I would definitely call them again.

Great service! No one likes to have their garage door break, but Precision made an appointment, came on time, explained to me the problems & repaired everything promptly. I would definitely use them again. One small point, if you also need a new or replacement remote buy your own. Theirs were expensive, but the tech walked me through how to clear & reset one for when I did purchase. Very helpful, courteous, prompt & effective.

Overall happy with the service. Garage Door works great. Would have liked a call earlier telling me Paulino was caught in traffic and running late. Once he got here he was very quick and effective repairing garage door.
