The time slot I was given was 9 - 1. Mario called me around noon to say he was running late and he would arrive in about an hour and a half. When I told him I couldn't be there at that time, he accommodated me and returned soon after I returned home. He called me about 20 minutes before he arrived to let me know he was coming. He sorted out the problem quickly and also noted one of the wires connecting the sensor was bad. He repaired the wiring and "tuned" the opener. He was quick, neat and very apologetic that he was late. I was very happy with the service.

Upon further research, I am convinced that I was overcharged for the work done for my garage door repair. Yes, I did agree to the repair prior to work being done. However, research leads me to believe that the work should have cost $400 - $450 based on estimates received after I became concerned about the total charge. Parts (FMV) est. $40 - $60 (2 coils), $45 - $60 (3 bearings) and $20 (1 hinge). Estimate $140 parts leaving $441.06 that I paid for labor of one hour, travel and overhead. NOTE that James did a great job, he was polite, considerate and very professional.

Our time slot was between 8-12. Mario called me around 9:15 to let me know that he would be arriving between 9:40-9:50. I think he arrived at 9:41. I showed him what I thought was the issue with the reason the garage door was not working (a broken hinge) but he was able to easily see that the spring had broken in half. He told me what needed to be done and gave me an estimate. He completed the work in about 30 minutes. I was very pleased with the communication, the quickness of the repairs and the professionalism that Mario displayed. I will recommend Precision to family, friends and co-workers.

It has been over a month now since James and Jerry came and repaired my boggled attempt to install a new garage door opener. I installed the opener on a Saturday and, the install was fairly easy, but the door just did not work right. The door would catch and sometimes get tweaked, not come up all the way, or go down all the way. I called Precision on Monday and was talking with an extremely pleasant and professional scheduler. She asked if they could come out the next day, Tuesday, and I explained that it would not work with my work schedule. She then explained that they have evening appointments, and that they have an opening for 5pm Tuesday. I booked the next day appointment. About 30 minutes before the appointment I received a call from James that he was on the wat and should arrive in about 15 – 20 minutes. Upon arriving, James introduced himself and Jerry, a training technician. After showing James/Jerry the new garage door opener installation and a visual inspection of the door, James (and Jerry concurred) that the problem was the spring. Based on the age, they also recommended that I replace the rollers with newer “nylon” rollers. They wrote up the contract and started the work. Less than an hour later they had replaced all parts, had the door opening and closing and started on “optimizing” the new opener setting the travel, adjusting the belt and setting the stops. They also showed me how to lubricate the moving parts. The total repair took about 2 hours and the door has NEVER work that effortlessly or quiet! James and Jerry were the epitome of professional and knowledgeable! The company needs to video these guys and use it as a training video for others. I cannot come up with one negative from this experience starting with the call to the repair service to the follow-up email asking if everything went well! I called to get a quote for spring replacement and person on the phone said it would be $299.00 for the springs and $24.99 to for the service call. I said great and to schedule them to come out same day. When technician comes out he tells me that with the new springs and labor and new ball bearings that should be replaced as well and service call which is $49.99 but if the do the work they drop it down to $24.99 the total was gonna be $910.00. I was obviously shocked at the price and told him what they had quoted me and he said that I called a call center in Florida and they don’t know what there talking about. After I had told him no that I wasn’t gonna pay $910.00 he said that it would still cost me $49.99 just for them to come out. This is straight ludicrous and should be against the law. At No time did they tell me that over the phone. The technician was nice and courteous and also said they should know more about what there services entails. I will never do business with this company nor recommend this company.

Quick response (I called at 7 a.m.; got 8 to noon window and tech arrived about 10:40). Mario diagnosed a failed door opener-- he even unplugged to re-set before proceeding. I was told online your service call could be applied to purchases; initially he offered half off the service call but did take off the whole amount (I believe I was told during initial call this would be the case). Nice guy -- quiet, polite and worked fast. I should have offered him a wet rag to clean his hands though-- its hard to want to shake when they're dirty! You replaced our door springs in April 2017; nothing personal, but I hope I don't have to see you again soon!
