I had Overhead Garage Doors of Stockton install an insulated garage door over a year ago. In all, including the installation, three service calls. I made calls to OGDS the same month of installation to fix the banging noise that the door made when opening. Each time the noise was still there after the same installer arrived. I put up with the noise until today… I called Precision Door Eastbay and Danny Yang arrived the day of the call, on time and solved the cause of the noise OGDS failed to fix in the two recalls for service I made about the noise. Precision Door will be my go-to garage door service provider from now on. Thanks again Danny, your attention to detail is much appreciated. The door makes no banging noise and is a quiet operation each time its operated.

Called at 10:30 and Rep arrived at 1:00pm to address our issue. Spent a bit more than what I initially thought we would spend but in the end it probably made sense to update our system as it was a bit old. Jerry was very friendly and did a quality job. Fairly unhappy! You say you offer a senior discount being 72 it was not offered. Precision had originally installed the unit, I was told the system was not powerful enough and I needed a different one, I passed on it. He said the sensor was bad and recommended replacement of wire with sensor. Retail cost of both parts is about 50 dollars, less on Amazon. It took 15 min. to install and the total charge was 380 dollars. I felt taken advantage of.

The Tech was not wearing a mask when he came to my home. I did not receive a check list of what was inspected for my records. i felt the service charge was to high for the service given. i felt the company should have ordered the part needed for me to in stall, so it would be the correct part. That would have been a better service best practice.
