Qualfied, helpful, yet be aware of the first estimte vs actuals replacing your garage door opener, then comes the door spring, then the bearings that go bad, then getting two remotes. The install tech carefully inspects and finds everything that needs replacement. If the initail rough estimate over the first call in changes once the tech gets out there - be aware. The R&R tech we had was solid. Works really good now.

I see there thought of replacing all the parts, I’m going to say, replace 10 bearing, 2 lift cables, two lift springs, the expertise of the work, but to the tune of $2275.50 cents, seams a little on the high side to me, for an hour width of work.

Quick response, waiting on written recommendation with cost estimate including lable and detailed parts breakdown. Called for (1) broken spring, verbal estimate was $1400 which included bearings. My wife called me and I wasn't in a position to make the decision. The first website that came up on a google search while I was on the phone with the tech stated "never pay more than $1000 for springs on a garage". So I await more details.

Precision makes good garage doors, and I would recommend them. However, one of the parts they use, the door handle/lock combo, is cheaply made, and was never particularly easy to use. (Our garage door is manual.) The keys that come with it are also cheaply made, and sure enough, yesterday one broke off inside the lock. Result? It cost $350 to have the garage pried open ( luckily we could do that..) and then the very nice tech replaced the lock. I immediately went to Ace to get new, stronger keys made. But the actual lock, though brand new, is still not easy to use/insert a key. But it works…Precision needs to upgrade this part.

Tech was nice and sounds knowledgeable. But said 9 months warranty on labor, but California state law says 1 year warranty on labor, presume owner knows that. Gave senior discount.

The technician service is nice and everything but, the cost of service and materials are too high (for a senior without job like me.) The discounts is ok but still, the base cost is too high. Other companies are estimating from $1500-1800 only. I paid $2127.00 just to replace the parts. Price could have been better.

When I had made an appointment, the front desk person assigned a technician. And, if there was any changes of technician's base on a change of assignment that I would be notified, that never happened. Aside from that, David L. called to let us know that he was on his way. David worked meticulous in rebuilding 80% of a 24 yr old garage door. He explained what to be replace and eventually showed the worn parts. David also took the time to instruct/inform of a yearly preventative maintenance. Whereas just fix it and run (this was other companies that my neighbors had used). This would have been a 5 star for David, if not for the front desk.

No you did not meet my expectations with Travis this time, Travis replaced the rollers when he was here before, but the rollers need to be adjusted, something is pulling the wood from around the garage door frame. Travis said the rollers were in their place and could not see anything wrong, he could not fix what he could not see, clearly there is something going on. Other that that I am still happy with precision.

Overall experience was good. Super pricey for the amount of work that was done. 20 minutes worth of work for $350 ????. The assistant was great. He did most of the work while the main guy supervised. Wish I had more time to shop around for a better price.

Thank you for the emergency repair and install. It was nicely done in a few hours as advertised. I appreciate very much the excellent service from your engineer Alex. He is very hard working with demonstrated skills and knowledge. However, I do have sticker shock because every piece of raw materials (springs, tubes and opener) are at least 2x more expensive than the market. In an emergency situation, customer is usually not in a good bargaining position... Excellent service but heavy mark up has greatly reduced client satisfaction.

Your customer service is excellent. The appointment scheduling was easy, Mario called me about 30 minutes before his arrival, diagnosed the problem, gave us a time estimate for the repairs, and actually completed the repairs in that time frame. He explained his work and what we could do on our own for maintenance. I was a little shocked on the cost of repairs, though, but I have faith that the work will last for many years to come. Communication via email was also efficient, by the way. Much appreciated.

We are very confident in Precision Door Service and know that their services are reliable and quick, even on weekends. The service fee is rather steep for shopping around and Precision's work has been on the higher end price-wise but we are pleased with their work.

Currently I am overseas on Business and was not there to coordinate with the service person. I am satisfied with the promptness of the service however disappointed that my wife was not offered the 3 year warranty. Nor was she shown the "Best" as indicated in the email I received. Only difference I saw was the warranty length and an additional cable The price of the replacement battery started out at $155 which is a pretty big mark-up as I can purchase myself for $49. My indicated the service guy said he reduced the price by 50% but still a high price in my opinion. More disappointed with not having the 3 year warranty than anything else. My 5 year warranty on the original repair in 2015 had just expired on June 27 and would have liked to seen a new 5 year warranty offered.
