Call ahead of arrival time to confirm. Have recommended to friends who have also liked their service. They installed my door over 10 years ago and have replaced the older opener I had. Today's visit was to replace a roller on the door that had come loose. Like them a lot.

Chewy was great. He called in advance, arrived on time, and diagnosed and resolved the problem very quickly. It turned out that the LED light bulb used with the opener was disrupting the signal. When the bulb was removed, the opener functioned well. My issue is that the charge for the repair was high considering that the opener was fixed in five minutes. I understand my responsibility to pay for the travel time, and for the expertise of the technician, but it seems there should be a reduced charge when the repair is completed with so little effort and time. This will be on my mind the next time I select a company to perform this type of service.

We called in the morning as our garage door would only open 6”. We were told someone would be to our home that day. James arrived an hour later and immediately noticed one of our springs was broken! He changed that and checked our motor and system to make sure it was functioning correctly. He said it was good. We felt that the rollers should be replaced and he agreed but never told us we had to change them. James did a great job, and was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. What a great experience that we will tell anyone that needs a professional company to rely upon getting the repair done correctly with no pressure to do things unnecessarily.

Came home previous night but garage door opened only a foot off the ground - reason: one spring broke. Next day online search for a garage door service company listed Precision Door among several names. Chose it due to excellent reviews and had an office in nearby Hayward. Same day service, but technician arrived at 5pm, end of time window. Cory had a big smile when he greeted me, which was a great start. This was a bad situation with our heavy double garage door hanging precariously at an angle. We are enormously grateful that James came out that same night and was able to fix it so that we could sleep with our garage successfully sealed shut again. Great service!

Rarely do I take the time to comment one way or another about a repair service but the visit this company made to fix our garage door was exceptional in so many ways that I need to a moment to publicly compliment them. During a visit with my daughter this weekend to help her pack for a cross-country move I somehow disabled the fobs to their old garage door locking the car inside. There is no other access. I called Precision which was the first to come up on Google and an extremely nice and reassuring receptionist said a tech would be out that afternoon. I was in a panic knowing the car was needed for all the errands that needed to be run and assumed the worst that the tech would come after dark or wouldn't come at all. Instead, he called shortly before my window started and said he would be there in 15 minutes. He was. James got to work quickly and with a great sense of humor and, again, reassurance that this would end well. There was a lot wrong with that old door but James persevered, got an old vent off and was able to snag the manual release so we could get in. He figured out the problem immediately, fixed it and also put a new manual release system in place so that the door could be accessed even if the motor or fobs weren't working. It was my fault and I was sick thinking of the worst case scenarios that would be required to get the door open and the car out in the short amount of time before the move. My very, very deep appreciation to James and the company for not letting that happen. I can see why there are so many acknowledgments listed on this site. If my experience is any indication, they are well-deserved. Thanks again!!
