I had called Precision Garage Door in Southern California to replace my mother’s door opener. The installer did a very good job so I called Precision here to replace my door and door opener. Our garage door stopped opening; with our car inside and on a work day. I called several companies but only Precision committed to same day service. I called at about 11:00am. The technician was scheduled for noon-2:00pm! Josh Kinder and his colleague arrived well within that window. Very friendly and polite guys. Great sense of humor. Josh told me what he was going to inspect and why; and what might need replacing. He was methodical, explained what had to be done, what he recommended should be done, and what ought be done "at some point if" if not now. With a 25 year old door it was time for the full Monty. And so it was. 5 Stars! Why? Everyone was polite from the person who scheduled the visit to John and his colleague. They explained what was wrong, what needed to be done and why, what it would cost, and did the job after I agreed. Efficient, thorough, and tidy. They checked the garage floor for anything that might have been left behind; nuts, bolts, screws etc. Other than the fact that the door now works, you wouldn't know they had been there for. Well done Josh and Co., and thanks Precision. ARB.

When our garage door spring broke, I looked up a Diamomd Certified recommendation, and found Precision. It was easy to make a service appointment. Our technician, James, was prompt. He was Super! He explained what we needed very clearly. He replaced the garage door springs quickly, and was engaging. He chatted with us while keeping at the task. Thanks to James, our broken door repair became an enjoyable experience.We are glad we followed the Diamond Certification advice, and we are completely happy with the work Precision Door did for us.

The first company I called to repair my door was the one that repaired it last time, but they were closed over the Labor day weekend. I called Precision next and was pleasantly surprised that they could come out same day. I thought every company was going to be closed. Technician Josh Kinder and his trainee Gabriel? were both very polite and friendly. Josh explained to me everything that needed to be done to fix my garage door as well as telling me about worst case scenario costs that may be discovered during the repair, which my garage door ended up not needing. I felt the entire job was done professionally and quickly. Josh even cleaned up smudge marks left behind on the door from the repair. I will definitely be calling Precision for any future garage door needs.

i called two other companies and couldnt get service for three days to fix broken spring and cables with your company i got next day service to fix my problem. i didnt think i was going to spend that much money to fix the problem but the technition made me feel comfortable and explained the reasons for adding an extra spring and other parts for a longer lasting and SAFER garage door for my wife and I his knowledge and experience was big. this a very professional company. Josh did an excellent job of replacing the broken springs for a 40 year old garage door. He also replaced end bearings, rollers and cables. Clearly explained what needed to be done. Although things did not go smoothly, Josh stayed and adjusted until we were both satisfied. Would recommend Josh and Precision Door to anyone needing garage door service.

I used this company the last time my springs broke, so I thought I would use them again. The only thing I did not like is when I called they told me it would be $300.00 for two springs, plus half of the service call which would have been about $25.00 - the springs ended up being $350.00. I was not happy about that. I should have sent him on his way and called another company. Then he tried to sell me all kinds of stuff that would have cost $1,200.00. I could probably have replaced my whole door for that or a little more. He did a great job but there was too much emphasis on him trying to sell me more than I asked for or wanted. The door is old but very well maintained, as he could see.

I was so relieved to speak with a live person on a Sunday AM, when our garage spring broke and, we were unable to manually unlock the door. A service appt was scheduled for a ho'day, Memorial Day.
