My garage door opener was not working so I called Precision and they came right over. This is great! But......I was told that I needed new springs and rollers so after thinking I was going to spend $50 or so on an opener, I ended up spending $1100!! James, the Tech was amazing and fixed my door in no time. He said that he did not fix prices but OMG. With earthquakes and fires this year, I need a door that works but the prices were very high.Thank you James for great service.

I was sold a new garage door motor for a total of $2,146.00. All I needed was a new chain. The motor has always worked. An estimate for a new motor was emailed to me before the technician arrived - I assumed that was a maximum figure - not one that would apply after the technician viewed the minor problem in my case. The technician told me the old motor was not adequate. I don't believe that was true. He was dismantling the system as he spoke - it seemed too late to change this process. He had called the company and asked the price - then he had shown me his computer with the price. What I saw was $197 and some odd cents. I told him that when he came in with the bill. He said I couldn't expect to get a new motor for such a low price. Were there less expensive options? The technician was apparently trained to avoid any discussion of this issue.

Warning Warning, this company will pull a scam on you. I have already reported them to the Better Business Bureau. About two weeks ago I called Precision Garage door because my garage stopped working. Someone by the name Paulino showed up. He was very pleasant. He walked through the garage and immediately said that everything had to be changed and will cost $900.00. I told him that I was on Social Security Disability and can not afford that since I am on a fixed income. He went to his truck and sat there for about five minutes on the phone. He came back and told me that he could fix it for $770. I explained to him again that I could not afford that and I may have to wait or try to borrow money from friends. He also mentioned to me that the company who installed the garage door is not in business any longer which was a lie. He left and I contacted Ace's Garage Door Repair and Installation. Asher is the name of the person from the Ace's Garage and he said he had to change the limit switch. He had to order the part and came back in one week and fixed it and the garage works perfectly now. He also gave me the option of upgrading the Garage for $330. but I decided to not do that. I contacted the owner of Precision Garage and explained the scam his employee was trying to pull on me. He acted as if he had no clue and did not want me to report him to BBB.

Our garage door broken down yesterday, since I had the opener replaced by precision last year, I decided to call them again. I am happy with their service, the technician Jerry Parker is excellent. He call me before arrival, he explained to me what need to be replaced and done. He and his partner are very efficient. We find out the Spring was broken, he recommended me to replaced the cables, rollers, drum, loose bearing, end bearing plates. I decided to add the keypad at the end. It cost me but I got 5 year parts and one year labor warranty. Overall, they are professional and efficient.

Mario and Erik repaired/replaced old faltering cables and drums and installed a new motor. They worked efficiently and pretty quickly despite the late hour and what was already a long day for them. They deducted all of the service fee because they arrived so late. The recommended solutions resulted in a better door at a reasonable price.

Stellar service provided by your tech, Mario. Called for service at 6:30am, scheduled appointment window was 0800-Noon. Mario arrived promptly at 8:00!! I thought the cable was broken, did not realize it was the spring. Mario set to work immediately, replaced the spring and bearing plates, lubed all the hinges and tracks. Job completed in about one and half hours. Mario was very knowledgable and efficient. And very kind eyes!! I will certainly recommend your company to family and friends should they ever require your services! Job well done!!!

I rate Precision Door a 5. The door was measured and I had the option to pick out a door that I wanted . I chose an insulated door to keep the garage cooler when I returned. The color matches the color they wish to keep. The when closing, battery operated when need be

Made a same day appointment with Precision to install torsion springs to replace extension springs, and to install a Liftmaster 8500 opener. Technician Gabriel called ahead, arrived early and was.very pleasant. I told him what I wanted to have done. He worked up an estimate. The only issue I have with Precision is the VERY high price I was charged for the opener. More than double what I could have paid online. I don't mind Precision making a reasonable profit, but MAN!. I almost did not have this part of the work done because of this price, and was doing to just have Gabriel do the spring replacement, which I can't easily do. But I would have had to install the opener myself, (which I have done in the past--not difficult), but since Gabriel was there and had everything needed to do the job, I went ahead and had the whole thing done. He did a great job, set everything up, showed me how it worked, and cleaned up. Great representative of your company. Mostly a great experience. I am only mildly bitter at the price I paid for the unit, hence the 4 stars. I will get over it eventually. But MAN!
