I reached out to Precision Garage Door Service to see if they could help reduce the loud noise my garage door was making when I used the remote. They've let me know that their flat fee for inspection would be of $69.99 and that I could get service same day. The technician came by and examined my garage door; I thought he would only talk about a lubrication process, but he sold me the idea that I needed an entire new system: New heavy duty cables, new drums for the cables, and new bearing rollers. The parts alone were $1,200! The labor for parts replacement & lube was $100. I argued that these prices seemed exorbitant, but he told me those types of parts are always expensive. The technician was very courteous, he answered my questions and he did a great job of installing the new parts, also providing me recommendations on what to do for future maintenance on the mechanisms of my very heavy door. The reason for my 3 stars is related to their super expensive parts. After the technician left, I did some research online for these same types of parts, and realized I could get them at 20% of the price on Amazon. But then, Precision does not accept to do installation of parts that are sold by a third party provider. Bottom line: If you need urgent service and expertise for your garage door, Precision does exactly that. But if you are price sensitive, you may want to shop around for your parts, and then find a service provider for garage door who would do the work with your the parts you already purchased.

My garage door motor failed on Sat of Thanksgiving weekend. Called Precision and Patrick showed up the next day... wound up having to replace the motor and all that goes with it. And it was installed maybe 15 years ago... maybe longer. Patrick L. showed up as committed, explained what happened, and what was needed. He was courteous, professional and had things done in great time. Must say it was more than I thought it would be, but all went well and I have no issues at all with anything... my thanks . .

First gave me 1 year warranty. When I told him we use this door most of the time. In 2 years spring was broken. Then in end he said no warranty for 1 year, just after installing. Make sure ask this in written b4 installing. I ask if he can lubricate. He said no. Bad attitude I have seen.

My door was in need of service. I was able to get a same day appointment. Carlos was great. His attention to detail, courtesy and ability to explain what was needed were outstanding. He also walked me through what he had done and showed me how I could do the yearly service myself. He informed me about more durable rollers which I will get at a later date. Contacted Precision at 5:00pm and Jose Lopez responded that he was available between 6:30-7:00pm. He was early and assessed required replacement parts (broken bracket, pulley bearings, new cables) and repaired and thoroughly checked door functioning properly. very professional, good communication throughout, highly recommend Precision service, very satisfied customer.

I had a car crash on the garage door. I scheduled the appointment online and got text/e-mail messages that technician was about to arrive. Bachir arrived at correct time and evaluated the damage together with me, explaining what could be done and overall effect on the door performance (springs, motor, rails, panels...). He prepared 3 separate quotes, adding service/material up to more elaborated solutions. We decided together and he was quick on the execution. He had all parts in his truck (company logo) and cleaned the area after completion. He also removed damaged parts for discarding them. I'm just not sure how price compares with other service providers, as I wanted it to be fixed asap. I'd call them again, no doubt.

Rodney presented the information about a new garage door opener or the option of a check up of my existing device. I opted for the new opener and I'm very glad that I did. It's much quieter and has a smoother operation. Rodney set up all the controllers and explained the extra perks on the main door controller in the house including the lock feature. I am very pleased to have had someone as knowledgeable, pleasant and hardworking as Rodney. The motion detector on this garage door opener is wonderful. All I have to do is wave my hand in front of the control just inside of my garage door, and the light goes on. I don't have to be concerned about walking down my steps in the dark. The app on the phone is also wonderful. I know if my garage door is open or closed just by checking my notifications or looking on that app. The other wonderful part of this garage door opener Is it it is so much quieter and my door does not shake every time it opens. I didn't know that I had to replace the garage door opener immediately, however I am so happy that I did. It makes a big big difference
