The garage door spring was busted for which I got an approximate quote on chat before calling in a tech. The quote was around $350 but the actual tech had several different recommendations and came up with a bill of $1200. We asked him to change just the springs and he started the work. When the job was done to our surprise the bill had an additional charge of $125 for knockout bearing. Our garage door never had one and we never agreed on getting one. It was definitely a rip-off. From the beginning to the end the technician just tried his best to convince us to get more and unnecessary work done. Definitely not happy with the service and won't fall for it again.

I damaged my old garage door when it hit a box that was in its path, preventing the door from closing evenly. The additional stress on the components resulted in breaking the springs. Joshua did a thorough review of the situation, asked question about how the door was performing, and showed me the wear on parts he recommended replacing. The existing garage door, renovated with some new components, is so quiet I have to look at it to reassure myself it is moving. I had no idea a garage door did not have to wobble and creak!

I went with Precision after learning that it was a family business and had biographies of their technicians. The technician was professional, personable and explained with details what was available to solve my issue. He replaced the motor (new motor is silent) and completed the repair in no time at all. New springs and ten new rollers installed on time and as promised today (the next day after my phone call requesting service). The old springs were seven years old and had gotten too weak. The old rollers were worn and did not roll that well. We have used Precision Door for some years and plan to continue to do so. The Service Technician was Great.

After eight years both springs on our garage door broke and needless to say we were stuck as both our cars were parked inside. We were lucky to get the same day appointment to fix the garage door. We were very pleased with the service. Our technician replaced two garage motors, springs, and rollers. He was professional, worked quickly, and had a great attitude. In addition, I was happy that I called on a Monday and had someone here on Thursday completing the work. He had everything on his truck that he needed to do the job. I didn't have to have two appointments, estimate and then work. He did them both at the same time. Excellent.
