Today James came and repaired my garage door. He did a very thorough examination and identified that I need to replace the cables (pulleys) as well as the rollers. We closed our garage door late in the afternoon of August 8, 2022 and there was a loud bang. We saw the spring across the top had broken. The garage door is original, 30 years old, and hadn’t been repaired in 8 years. Since it had been so long I looked online and happened on Precision Garage Door Repair. A well-designed and easy to understand website, a local office, excellent reviews and ratings, Diamond Certified, and a surprise and very important feature – 24-hour live phone operator. I was able to make an appointment that evening for the next morning, August 9, 2022. Sheridan Abad, the tech, called prior to arrival, arrived within the indicated time frame and was prepared with a basic understanding of the problem and all the tools and supplies required. He did a thorough inspection and made recommendations to fix what was broken and also to address safety issues and provided a detailed estimate for the repair. We did not feel pressured to have any unnecessary work done but felt confident that what was recommended was required. The work was completed quickly and efficiently and within the estimated timeframe. Sheridan pointed out all the new parts and repairs and demonstrated how much easier the door was to operate manually and how much quieter it was. Cleanup was quick and thorough. I feel very fortunate that I just “happened” on the Precision Garage Door Repair website and especially fortunate that Sheridan Abad was our tech. As a trainer as well as a technician I feel he is an expert, but I also feel confident that any tech who provided service would have been qualified and competent. They seem to have it down to a science: every aspect of the repair from the initial phone call to the demonstration of the finished product was well done and made very easy for the customer. Everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable and friendly, everything communicated to us was easy to understand and accurate, and the service truck and equipment were well-maintained. It was just a smooth process from beginning to end. I would not hesitate to recommend Precision Garage Door Repair and Sheridan Abad without hesitation.

I contacted Precision on the recommendation of my neighbor. I was absolutely pleased w the professionalism, evaluation skills and complete repair of the door problem by the technician, Eresell Williams. so much so that I called the office after Mr.Williams had finished and asked 'Tanner' about a door- lubrication service. When Tanner began the appointment set-up I told him I will only go ahead w this service if Mr. Williams would b the technician doing the service. I called around noon, and was given a time between 2 and 6. Ersell called and let us know when he would be here. He arrived when he said he would and got right to the issue we were having with out garage door opener. It turned out our opener was not fixable. Ersell was able to get us set up with a new opener and had it installed in about 90 mnutes. He was great to explain the new system and we were happy to get it done so quickly and without any issues.We appreciate the work Ersell did for us, so efficient, personable and professional. Thanks!

We had a broken spring and they came out same day. The technician went over all the work in the estimate, completed the work within an hour, and left the door running smoother than it had in years. Really great job.

We were not sure if our garage door could be repaired as it was damaged some time ago and was now having great difficulty opening and closing. Our technician - Brandon Taylor was very professional and immediately diagnosed several problems. We were happily impressed that he had everything necessary for the repair in his truck!! Travis was running late with the customer before me so he called to let me know the situation and then arrived when he said he would. I needed a lot of work on my garage door, new springs, new cables, a couple of new hinges, etc.. Travis explained everything and although the price was a surprise I had him do the work. Travis did an outstanding job.

Had a broken spring and needed same day service. Called at 6am on a Saturday and talked to a live operator. She got an appointment for 10am, that was awesome. Travis was my technician and he really knew his stuff. My garage opener was 20 years old. Travis replaced everything from the springs to a new opener. Loved the service and will recommend. Brandon Taylor is the type of technician I want whenever I need a professional: high integrity, genuine, honest and skilled. He goes above and beyond to help customers become aware of what our part is in maintaining our equipment and how little time, effort and product it takes to extend the life of our garage doors and openers. He demonstrates how to lubricate the rollers, springs, hinges and tubes. Shows us what spray to buy and use. I'm all for saving money and extending the life of all equipment, especially high cost items. Today I proactively replaced the original chain driven 1/3 hp (home builder -cheap!) garage opener because it was 10 years old and noisy. It was slow, as well. I researched and chose a "belt" driven model and swapped out the rail wheels (which were being dragged) for new rollers. I find it better to assess all aspects of the garage door and opener to maintain correct alignment and increased longevity. Brandon explained how the remote and control pad worked. He also programmed my vehicle with the new garage opener. He's really talented and wants to do his best always for the customer. He's the type of person you'd want the next time if assistance is needed. Brandon and Precision's phone/website are in my phone contact list! I practice proactive management -buy quality, good workmanship and see the value pay off long term. I did my research and I lucked out choosing Precision!
