The tech came to my house is for the money only. He came didn’t do anything I was complaining my GARADGE door not closing it open but cannot closed, all he does is stood by the censor and let me push the bottom on the wall and he said nothing wrong with it, so I ask him so your not gonna do anything I alredy told him that is not closing and he said I need a new GARADGE so basically he just came there to collect the money for him to come to my house, and try sell me a new GARADGE which skyrocket prices. He was gonna charge me almost 1,700 for just a new motor that you can buy at Home Depot for 240. Insane I wish I got his name as soon as I see him I just knew he no good, I use precision GARADGE before I have a good guy fix the problem without hesitate problem solve. But one employee that is not doing a good job will pull the business down.

Precision presented itself as a professional business on its website and again when I called and talk to a representative who was courteous and helpful in setting up an earliest as possible appointment. Paul, the repairman who came to our house, was very knowledgeable. He spotted problems with our garage door that were about to get worse.The price he quoted was reasonable and he did the work efficiently and explained everything he was doing and why. We needed our opener replaced. The existing opened was only 18/19 years old. Our installer, James, fully explained my options for a new opener and quoted a price and instal time. Once he completed the job, He explained the what he did, showed me all the new equipment, and fully explained the operation of the new opener. JaMes was friendly and professional. I called at 7:30am on a Friday morning. Alyssa answered the phone, and scheduled an appointment window from 8am-noon the same day. The technician, Paul, called at 9:30am to say he would be there by 10am. He showed up on time, created a detailed quote for the repairs needed. He said it would take about 90 minutes to fix. Ninety minutes later, he finished the job and provided me a complete printed invoice for my records. The garage door is back in service.

Sheridan arrived promptly, did a full inspection of the system and offered many options for service. I initially opted for a more budget friendly service, which Sheridan promptly initiated. After consulting with the boss, which she pointed out the importance of a safe installation, of a major security feature of the house was our priority, we opted to get all the recommendations done. Sheridan completed all the work within the hour, made sure I understood my invoice and how completing all the work would save us money in the long run. He showed me all the parts he replaced and we tested the garage door before he left. He didn’t leave a mess and was respectful of our house and all the COVID / Social distancing protocols while working. This is our first home so there was some sticker shock but overall from start to finish, from calling after hours and getting a person (Derek) to book us, to Sheridan arriving on Labor Day and getting the work done, their professionalism and service is worth it.

Excellent job by the installer. Fast service, honest estimate, cleaned up all materials. Can't speak yet as to the durability of the garage door opener, but it's working fine so far. The rolling code is a safer technology than the old dip switch, fixed code, and it was a needed upgrade. Ability to open the door with a smartphone eliminates carrying a remote around. Nobody should leave an opener on their visor, name and address is right there on your car registration. Precision has provided some important safety features for us. Good job!

I Googled Precision made the call and Precision responded, diagnosed the condition of my 2006 garage door operation, made their recommendation for repair and got the job done in 30 minutes. Afterwards, there was a fire alert and mandatory evacuation of my neighborhood. My family left the house forgot the house keys and were only able to enter through the garage door. I had Overhead Garage Doors of Stockton install an insulated garage door over a year ago. In all, including the installation, three service calls. I made calls to OGDS the same month of installation to fix the banging noise that the door made when opening. Each time the noise was still there after the same installer arrived. I put up with the noise until today… I called Precision Door Eastbay and Danny Yang arrived the day of the call, on time and solved the cause of the noise OGDS failed to fix in the two recalls for service I made about the noise. Precision Door will be my go-to garage door service provider from now on. Thanks again Danny, your attention to detail is much appreciated. The door makes no banging noise and is a quiet operation each time its operated.
