The time slot I was given was 9 - 1. Mario called me around noon to say he was running late and he would arrive in about an hour and a half. When I told him I couldn't be there at that time, he accommodated me and returned soon after I returned home. He called me about 20 minutes before he arrived to let me know he was coming. He sorted out the problem quickly and also noted one of the wires connecting the sensor was bad. He repaired the wiring and "tuned" the opener. He was quick, neat and very apologetic that he was late. I was very happy with the service.

Upon further research, I am convinced that I was overcharged for the work done for my garage door repair. Yes, I did agree to the repair prior to work being done. However, research leads me to believe that the work should have cost $400 - $450 based on estimates received after I became concerned about the total charge. Parts (FMV) est. $40 - $60 (2 coils), $45 - $60 (3 bearings) and $20 (1 hinge). Estimate $140 parts leaving $441.06 that I paid for labor of one hour, travel and overhead. NOTE that James did a great job, he was polite, considerate and very professional.

Chewy was great!!! He explained what had happened and what I should do in the future should the problem occur again. The sensor was knocked off line. He also recommended the lubricant to use.

Service was prompt and professional. Had a broken spring. Beware of the upsell. Ended up spending twice as much as intended. But, that said the recommendations were sound.

Chewy was great. He called in advance, arrived on time, and diagnosed and resolved the problem very quickly. It turned out that the LED light bulb used with the opener was disrupting the signal. When the bulb was removed, the opener functioned well. My issue is that the charge for the repair was high considering that the opener was fixed in five minutes. I understand my responsibility to pay for the travel time, and for the expertise of the technician, but it seems there should be a reduced charge when the repair is completed with so little effort and time. This will be on my mind the next time I select a company to perform this type of service.

He was very personable, informative and pleasant to work with. Precision Door Service lived up to it's 5 star ratings.
