It has been over a month now since James and Jerry came and repaired my boggled attempt to install a new garage door opener. I installed the opener on a Saturday and, the install was fairly easy, but the door just did not work right. The door would catch and sometimes get tweaked, not come up all the way, or go down all the way. I called Precision on Monday and was talking with an extremely pleasant and professional scheduler. She asked if they could come out the next day, Tuesday, and I explained that it would not work with my work schedule. She then explained that they have evening appointments, and that they have an opening for 5pm Tuesday. I booked the next day appointment. About 30 minutes before the appointment I received a call from James that he was on the wat and should arrive in about 15 – 20 minutes. Upon arriving, James introduced himself and Jerry, a training technician. After showing James/Jerry the new garage door opener installation and a visual inspection of the door, James (and Jerry concurred) that the problem was the spring. Based on the age, they also recommended that I replace the rollers with newer “nylon” rollers. They wrote up the contract and started the work. Less than an hour later they had replaced all parts, had the door opening and closing and started on “optimizing” the new opener setting the travel, adjusting the belt and setting the stops. They also showed me how to lubricate the moving parts. The total repair took about 2 hours and the door has NEVER work that effortlessly or quiet! James and Jerry were the epitome of professional and knowledgeable! The company needs to video these guys and use it as a training video for others. I cannot come up with one negative from this experience starting with the call to the repair service to the follow-up email asking if everything went well! I called to have the chain tightened , door lubed, purchase two openers and opener pad. I was very pleased with technician Gabe Van Blake, he was very professional and friendly. He checked the door for proper movement, gave me a quote of how much it would cost prior to work. I recommend this company.

This may be my best service repair ever. Less than 24 hours start to finish. My garage door mechanism broke on Saturday afternoon. I called Precision Door and they had a technician out the next morning. The technician Mario (really nice guy) explains completely and clearly what the problem is and what is necessary. He installed the needed part, made the necessary adjustments and made sure I was happy with how everything worked. Great job, Thank you Mario.

i called two other companies and couldnt get service for three days to fix broken spring and cables with your company i got next day service to fix my problem. i didnt think i was going to spend that much money to fix the problem but the technition made me feel comfortable and explained the reasons for adding an extra spring and other parts for a longer lasting and SAFER garage door for my wife and I his knowledge and experience was big. this a very professional company. I used this company the last time my springs broke, so I thought I would use them again. The only thing I did not like is when I called they told me it would be $300.00 for two springs, plus half of the service call which would have been about $25.00 - the springs ended up being $350.00. I was not happy about that. I should have sent him on his way and called another company. Then he tried to sell me all kinds of stuff that would have cost $1,200.00. I could probably have replaced my whole door for that or a little more. He did a great job but there was too much emphasis on him trying to sell me more than I asked for or wanted. The door is old but very well maintained, as he could see.
