Needed garage door repair. Saw the reviews for Precision and called them. They came the same day and on time. Alex, the technician, called and let me know his ETA. He was professional, very experienced with my type of garage door and he educated me on the sensors, motor, what to look for in the future to assess if the door is working correctly. My garage door was not operating correctly or consistently. I received a Precision door service advertising in the Sunday paper. I came to the conclusion that i needed to correct the problem once and for all . I checked the internet and other reviews and was pleased what I read. Several years ago, I was in need of a new motor for the garage door. Precision came out the same day and replaced the motor, as well as worn rollers. This time around, I needed a spring and cables replaced. Alex was there about a half-hour after I phoned it in. After inspecting everything, he replaced the spring, cables, and both main bearings. The door is balanced now and is even slightly quieter. Alex offered some advice on inspections that I could do, plus looking for early warning signs of spring fatigue. If I need maintenance, or need to replace a garage door down the road, I wouldn’t call anyone else to do the job.

Technician Alex was very knowledgeable and helpful. Initially I called for service due to a broken tension spring. After careful inspection he found numerous other items needing repair such as tension cables rollers and pulleys. After looking at each part in question I had no reservation about authorizing additional repairs. Yes it was expensive but I have much greater peace of mind knowing my garage door and opener will perform at top level for years to come.

I strongly recommend Precision Door Service to anyone who is having problems with an existing garage door or anyone who needs a new one. Also I would like to give my highest commendation to technician Alex Kogan who did the work. On Friday, December 13, 2019, I called Precision because the motor in my garage door opener was making some crunching noises. Precision promptly answered the phone without my having to listen to a lot of voicemail prompts. They set me up with an appointment for Monday, December 16. At the appointed time, technician Alex Kogan arrived and examined my garage door. He identified a number of problems with the door which included defective rollers, bearings, and torsion springs. Alex went right to work in repairing all of these problems and completed the job in 1.5 hours. Alex demonstrated the highest level of professionalism in the way he interacted with me, the way he identified the problems, and the way he completed the job in a timely manner. In addition, Alex had all of the necessary parts in stock on his truck. There was no need to back order anything.

I received excellent service from Alex K. He was a bit late in arriving but explained in detail the condition of my garage door and what was needed to get it performing as new. Within 90 minutes the service was complete and the door opens and closes perfectly.
