My name is Cem Forshey. I'm originally from Orange County, I moved up to the Bay Area in 2011, but go back often to visit my family. I live in the East Bay with my wife and our 2 year old son. We also have 2 dogs that we love like children. In my spare time I love being outdoors; scuba diving, fishing, wake boarding, or just barbecuing in the backyard with my family. I have lots of interests and hobbies and love working on cars and anything mechanical. Being in this line of work I have found that I love working with my hands, problem solving, and ultimately resolving the issue and making the homeowner happy. I enjoy knowing that I took a problem off of the homeowner's plate so they don't have to worry about it anymore, that brings me pleasure and a lot of pride in my work.

I called to get a quote for spring replacement and person on the phone said it would be $299.00 for the springs and $24.99 to for the service call. I said great and to schedule them to come out same day. When technician comes out he tells me that with the new springs and labor and new ball bearings that should be replaced as well and service call which is $49.99 but if the do the work they drop it down to $24.99 the total was gonna be $910.00. I was obviously shocked at the price and told him what they had quoted me and he said that I called a call center in Florida and they don’t know what there talking about. After I had told him no that I wasn’t gonna pay $910.00 he said that it would still cost me $49.99 just for them to come out. This is straight ludicrous and should be against the law. At No time did they tell me that over the phone. The technician was nice and courteous and also said they should know more about what there services entails. I will never do business with this company nor recommend this company.

it took 2 min to fix my garage door i paid $138.00 i think it is way too much $50.00 for the visit and the $58.00 for 2 min repair.

A young driver hit my garage door late in the afternoon. I've used Precision Door for the last few times I've needed service for various mundane garage door reasons. My dad was an engineer so I'm kind of a picky customer and they have risen to the challenge with a smile on their face even sending someone out to move the control panel barely half an inch so it wouldn't keep hitting the door. So once again, there was their sticker, I called them right after calling my insurance company and when I explained it was leaving my house open they set up someone to come out immediately. Although that didn't happen for various reasons, I felt comfortable talking over how to close the garage door for the night and trusted them to follow through and still less than 24 hours after the crash, a service guy was here. A track, some hinges, young driver got lucky. Maybe because I'm a repeat customer, maybe because they good to deal with, I'll keep using Precision Door for my garage door needs.

I have lived in my house for 7+ years and my garage door has been the bane if my existence. I have worked with several garage door companies. Precision Door Services by far the best. 5 stars Have used Precision Doors for about 10 years now. Fast, efficient service with explanations of work that is needed and why. Polite, professional workers. Call ahead of arrival time to confirm. Have recommended to friends who have also liked their service. They installed my door over 10 years ago and have replaced the older opener I had. Today's visit was to replace a roller on the door that had come loose. Like them a lot.

I was happy that you guys came out on a weekend and the technician did a great job. Other than that I wasn't too happy. The quote I got over the phone vs. the actual cost was more than double. You forgot to mention $89.00 flat service fee on top of $175 for each door spring. I paid $469.00...that was crazy high. I had the option to refuse the service but would have been charged $49.00 without getting my spring fixed. Secondly, our appt was from 8am to 12. The technician showed up at 1pm. I've replaced my springs before and I paid $158.00. I should have waited till Monday.

The person that did the repair (Jim) was professional, efficient, and thorough. He did the repair, checked the other components of the door and - to my relief, the door was again functional. I will happily call Precision again if there is any future problem. The people in the office were also very helpful.
