Very disappointed. The technician came out to do a door tuneup and did a 2 minute "25 point inspection" and quoted $1600 repair bill. I opted out of doing this "repair" only to have the door not work because the technician forgot to reconnect the door to the motor. If you can't reconnect the door after a simple inspection how can I trust the quality of your work?

I have used Precision in the past and was more than satisfied. Again, the service person was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. I called at 1:30 pm and by 5 my door was fixed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Precision and will leave this review on the Next door site and yelp.

I am a licensed S.E. S1862 and would like to propose a bolt though the wall as opposed to current failed lag attachment of spring. Garage never used for vehicles. Will buy new garage door when sell in 1 yr. A more experienced person could probably do this. Happy to sign a hold harmless document. Travis B notified us of eta. Professional. Did replacement of rubber seal for bottom of garage door efficiently. Could not fix the blinking garage door eye sensor but was upfront with recommendations and estimated cost for future needed repairs for garage door. Would call him back for future services. Sheridan installed my new spring and motor. He explained what the issue was, walked me through what was needed. A true professional at what he does. The cost is up there but what isn’t these days. I would like to commend Mario Mojica for his professional work in repairing my garage. He is very courteous and explained in detail on what he will be doing before he presented to the quote for the cost of the repair. He gave me choices for a minimum repair to the optimal work on the garage. He gained my confidence by showing his expertise and most of all his transparency and honesty. Kudos to him. Good way to banner him that reflects the image of the company.

I backed into my own garage door at my home in Richmond on a Friday night and called another company first. They said they'd get back to me -- shortly and never did. So Saturday at 7:20, I called Precision because of all the positive reviews I'd seen online, and the promise of same-day service. The technician arrived at 10am as promised and my door was not only fixed but fundamentally improved when he was done...just an hour later. I am stunned and thrilled at the fantastic and fast work. Hopefully I won't make backing into my garage door a habit, but if I do, I'm calling Precision without hesitation.

My garage door broke again. James came back and we discussed the condition of my aging door motor. I decided to get the new LiftMaster motor with a belt drive not chain. He did lots of work and repairs to the door all while training a new guy. I am so happy with it. It’s quite and even has a motion detector light to brighten my garage. I want James to come back every year to maintain it, he is the best!

I used Presision a while ago to have my garage remotes programmed and was very pleased withthe service. also chose Precision, because they are a Richmond company and family owned. I am very satisfied with the service received, the technician first evaluated what my need was, took time to develop a detailed description of what was needed to be done and provided a quote on what it would cost. Once discussed he started on the project. Completed it in about 2 hours, we did a demo. on how everthing operated and he pointed out everthing that was done. Excellent work. Very happy with the job. We were a bit concerned when we learned that Paul was not going to get to us until after the 6:00 p.m. end of our appointment time, but mainly because we thought he'd be pretty tired after a long day. NOT! He and his assistant arrived energized and ready to go. He looked at the problem, quoted us several options, we picked one and left him and his assistant to the job. In fairly short order, given what had to be done, he was finished. We tested the door's function together and it performed flawlessly (thus liberating the car that was trapped inside the garage!). Everything was done just as Precision stated on the website it would be. We are pleased customers!

My homes garage door and lift system was in need of repair, Paul Brinkman was the technician that arrived to repair and replace with new spring, cables, rollers and a new Liftmaster LED system. His work was clean and timely. Mr. Brinkman also gave a full and through explanation of the new Liftmaster system. The garage door is now quiet to open and close plus it locks securely.

I was fortunate to have had my garage motor replaced in 2017 by Precision, suddenly I felt vulnerable when the motor failed and pulled the panels off-track. One call to Precision and I received quick response to repair it. Yesterday I needed a consultation after I replaced the door's weatherstripping and I relied on Precision to assist. Within 24 hours, tech Paul Brinkman arrived, assessed the situation and also found 2 cracked hinges(rollers). He replaced them quickly and lubed the motor track. Paul competently and patiently answered all my questions and left me confidently knowledgeable on how to maintain my door. I am quite satisfied with Precision's service from appt booking to finished work and will recommend Precision to friends and family. Thanks so much!

We needed the bottom of our garage door sealed. Carlos came out promptly and took care of our concern. Carlos arrived in a timely matter and presented himself very professional. This is our second time using Precision, if we have a problem with our garage or if anyone should ask for a refer for garage repair or installation, we would definitely recommend precision and personally ask for Carlos.
